Review of the 3.5-Inch Lift Kit for Truck I recently installed a 3.5-inch lift kit on my truck, and I’m thoroughly impressed with the results. Here’s a breakdown of my experience with this kit: Installation The installation process was straightforward, though it did require a bit of time and some mechanical know-how. If you’re familiar with basic truck maintenance or have experience with lift kits, it’s a manageable job that can be done in a day with the right tools. The kit came with clear instructions, and all the necessary hardware was included. However, if you’re a beginner, you may want to have a professional do the installation to ensure everything is done correctly. Build Quality The quality of the components is solid. The shocks, springs, spacers, and brackets that came with the kit all feel robust and well-made. After driving with the lift kit installed for several weeks, I’ve noticed no signs of wear or issues with any of the parts. The materials seem durable enough to handle off-roading conditions and regular road use. The kit also includes everything necessary for both front and rear lift, ensuring balanced height across the truck. Performance & Handling The 3.5-inch lift gives my truck a much more aggressive stance, improving its appearance significantly. It also accommodates larger tires (which is one of the main reasons I got the lift), offering better ground clearance for off-road adventures. After installing the lift kit, I noticed a slight change in handling, but nothing dramatic. The truck feels more stable on rough terrain, and the ride quality is actually a bit better when off-roading—smoother bumps and better shock absorption. On paved roads, the ride is also more comfortable compared to other lifted trucks I’ve driven, although you can feel a bit more body roll on sharp turns. In terms of alignment, after installation, I did have to get my truck realigned. It’s recommended to align the vehicle after lifting, as it can affect steering angles and tire wear. Aesthetic Appeal One of the most noticeable changes was the visual impact. The 3.5-inch lift really makes a difference in the truck’s overall appearance. It looks much more rugged and off-road-ready, and the extra height gives it a commanding presence on the road. The additional clearance also gives the truck a more proportional look, especially when paired with larger wheels and tires. Pros: • Increased ground clearance allows for larger tires and better off-road capabilities. • Aggressive, tough look adds to the truck’s aesthetic appeal. • Improved ride quality off-road, especially on uneven or rugged terrain. • High-quality, durable components included in the kit. • Straightforward installation for those with some mechanical experience. Cons: • The truck’s handling can feel slightly different, especially around corners—though this is typical with lift kits. • Realignment is necessary post-installation, which can incur additional cost. • Ride stiffness might increase slightly on paved roads, especially if the suspension is on the firmer side. Conclusion Overall, the 3.5-inch lift kit has been a great upgrade for my truck. It provides better clearance, a more aggressive look, and enhanced off-road performance without compromising too much on ride quality. While it may require a bit of work to install and some extra attention to alignment, the performance gains and aesthetic improvements are well worth it. Whether you’re an off-road enthusiast or just want a more rugged appearance, this lift kit is a solid choice that delivers.

Easy install (mostly). Dropping the diff was the hardest, not a lot of room in between the diff and crossmember so it took forever grinding on the diff to get enough room to get the 1" pucks in. Other than that, the results are awesome!
