I think there is no pencil better than Steadtler. I haven’t tried a lot of other brands, I admit. When I was a little boy I tried Staedtler pencil and eraser set. That was sometime in early 80’s. Since then I’ve been using Steadtlers for almost 45 years. Pencils had changed a lot over years, but the quality remained at its best. Now my kids do their homework using Staedler. Thanks for the great product!

The product is of great quality, however extra care should be taken while shipping, my case was broken upon arrival and does not close.

I am an artist and I use these daily. They have a good weight to them and you do not have to sharpen this with a knife, the lead comes out nicely with the clamps when you push the top allowing me to have the length I need in the lead to do my drawings. I would suggest this product to anyone as it is a great pencil.Pros:- Clamps lead holder vs. push.- Good weight when holding all day.- Easy to get the length of lead needed while not breaking the lead.- Good for drafting when I do that as well.- You get a lot of pencils for the price.Cons:- NoneWould you suggest this to other?- Yes and have to everyone in my Atelier.

Los Mars Technicos son lápices durables, hechos con materiales que soportan el paso de los años, he tenido uno cerca de 15 años, y todavía está en excelentes condiciones, por eso decidí comprar una colección, actualmente, gracias a los avances en nuestros vecinos del este, podemos tener minas (leads) de diferentes colores, además del grafito (negro). Para dibujos, bocetos inclusive notas, estos lápices no tienen comparación, hay muchas imitaciones en el mercado cuyo cuerpo interno son de plástico, los Mars en cambio son de bronce, excelentes para heredar.

These pencils were all I had hoped for. They are very sturdy and feel great to use. Spend a little extra and get these. The cheaper 2MM pencils are just that, cheaper price, cheaper feel, and cheaper construction.

One of the best pencils but when I received the casing had three cracks, for the price they are charging they could have given a nice metal box to keep them safe.

I've always had Staedtler mechanical pencils and they have always met or exceeded the quality standards. These are no exception. Excellent quality and good weight and balance for writing and drawing.

STAEDTLER Mars technico 780 has the best balance and weight. It feels like a writing wand in the hand. Love them!
