We purchased this fridge from our local appliance shop Fred's Appliance in June of 2025. We immediately began having difficulty with it. First, the upper ice maker seemed really sluggish at producing ice. We went through the process of letting the icemaker produce ice for 24 hours and weighing how much it was making. It was barely making the minimum amount of ice. However since it wasn't apparently broken, we did not request an exchange for it from Freds Appliace. 3 months later the upper ice maker stopped working entirely and the fridge began freezing our produce. I called fridgidaire and they send out a local technician who supposedly diagnosed it as the control board. We waited 2 weeks for the part. Meanwhile we were still losing produce to being frozen over and over during those 2 weeks. The new part did not fully repair the problem as once again in November the fridge began really malfunctioning. During those 2 months, the only way we could keep th produce from freezing was by turning the refrigerator up to its maximum temperature. As well as the ice maker went out once again. So we called customer service again and requested another repair. This time the technician replaced the icemaker, and the airflow valve. At which point the refrigerator seemed to function tolerably, but never quite at full capacity. Now, once again, in march, we begin having extreme difficulties again with our produce being frozen and icemaker.As well not functioning. Once again, we called frigid air customer service and they sent our technician.Who supposedly ran it through its diagnostic codes and has found nothing wrong. Frigid air suggested that we do not block the airflow vents which they were not. As well as we lower our expectations on how much quantity of ice the refrigerator can make. However, my husband who is a technician himself, purchased a commercial data logging thermometer and sensor. We have since been logging the data and the temperatures that the refrigerator is staying at. refrigerator even though it is set at its Max temperature of 43° lives consistently between 29 and 33 degrees. This refrigerator has been a complete and total lemon. And the only solution is that it will need to be totally replaced.We suspect that the thermister is actually what is broken on this refrigerator. As the refrigerator is consistently running at ten to twelve degrees out of range, it is too cold on a consistent basis.And freezing our food once again. Needless to say, we are incredibly frustrated and disgruntled. This is absolutely unacceptable as far as customer service goes, and this refrigerator is garbage. I estimate that, at this point we have lost approximately five hundred dollars worth of produce every time that this freezer freezes since purchasing it in june of twenty twenty five. Perhaps if I post this review to your website frigid air, you will actually step up and replace our refrigerator how it should be done. That would actually be appropriate customer service.In this situation, rather than letting your customer ride out the warranty to the point.That we no longer have any warranty and have to deal with a broken fridge anyways. Whoever reads this, I hope that you forward this on to upper management.Because these reviews are going to continue to be posted on all of your websites. To any future, customers do not buy this product.

I love the ice maker in this fridge! We’ve never had a fridge like that before, the water filter is easily replaceable and there is a ton of storage space to fit loads of groceries and then some!

The ice box bought on 5-18-22. It has been leaking water from the third day. Three repairs by different approved Electrolux people. Still leaking. Was approved for new unit on 10-11-22. Still have not got it. I have made calls and talk to at least 20 different people. Have got the biggest run around by this company. I CALL AND GET PUT ON HOLD FOR AN HOUR THEN GET TANSFERED TO GET DISCONNECTED TO START ALL OVER. They want give my money back are replace the unit at this point. BE CAUTIOUS when buying for them . My experience was horrible with this company

I purchased the refrigerator from Home Depot. 3 weeks later is showed up. After removing the packaging I noticed the right door was higher than the left. I contacted Home Depot and they said they would send a tech. He came out and stated the refrigerator was defective and would be replaced. The replacement came and it was defective also. They sent another tech out and he said the same thing. Defective product. It has been 5 weeks now with no resolution. Frigidaire and Home Depot are both frauds. Do not buy this refrigerator or do business with Frigidaire or Home Depot for large items.
