Two tablets (130 mg) is the recommended single dose for most age groups so a bottle will easily provide for several families/friends.Truth be told if anything nuclear were to go down in Ukraine, it would be so far away that we should have plenty of warning. Still, government performance in the face of COVID-19 has been less than stellar and it is worth being prepared. Potassium Iodide works by the Wolff-Chaikoff effect blocking further uptake of iodine into the thyoird. With radiative dust, you are are far higher risk of ingesting and inhaling particles that get stuck in your body forever so seeking shelter and taking cover is more important than anything these tablets can do. All they do is prevent radioactive iodine being taken up by your thyoird. They protect no other organ/part of your body!N.B. if you are looking for daily iodine supplementation for dietary reasons this is absolutely the wrong dose (it's far too high!)

One of the few supplier of 65mg Iodine tablets you can order in the uk, and also they are made in the uk.65mg is equivalent to 65,000ug, many other 'high strength' tablets on Amazon are around 400ug, that's only 0.4mg, so don't get confused between mg and ug.Expiry date is 01/26, so a couple months less than 2 years, but reading this "potassium iodide pills are labelled with an expiration date, usually five or six years after manufacture. But their components are very stable, according to the Nuclear Regulatory Commission, and it is safe to take them after the expiration.....".So despite a relatively short under 2 years expiry date, they should be ok for at least another few years.

Adults need 2 tablets immediately in the event of a nuclear accident from your local power station releasing radioactive iodine. Or in unlikely event of nuclear strike. Children 1 tablet babies over 3 months quarter tablet. For all other use cases consult your GP.

Only thing is, we aren’t under nuclear attack at the moment, so can’t really report on their effectiveness at reducing thyroid cancer. I only bought them because V Putin kept warning the west of nuclear war.

Part of a little survival kit I have put together just in case. Haven’t used it yet and I hope it won’t be necessary at all.

Do not consume them unless and as indicated by the doctor or in the case of a nuclear event. Do not consume them preventively! Let's hope we won't need them.

Delivered Fast and is as described. AwesomeStuff must always be taken with 150mcg Selenium. Best to start with a week of selenium first. I think they sell this too. Dr Brownstein books discuss this but it’s not common knowledge. Super important.

I have an underperforming thyroid.The top thyroid doctors on youtube recommend that older people like me need milligrams of Iodine and not mcg, as the authorities recommend, and all supplements have.One youtube doctor has patients taking 30mg of Iodine.The tablets are soft and easily divided by a pill cutter.So I cut the tablets into quarters which I guess will be about 10mg Iodine,the rest being potassium.I think an intelligent person who takes too much Iodine will recognize the symptoms and back off.And the universal recommendation "consult your doctor"?Yeah right!We are up to our armpits in doctors here.

Really glad we haven't had any nuclear attacks and hope that continues, but having it on hand in case is nice.
