They're not only beautiful to the eye, which is the least important, but they're made SO WELL. The size is perfect, not small (this is not for a child) and not huge, just right, and the sound quality aside from the wood quality itself is a professional, just perfect sound. I'd give 10 stars if I could. My neighbors and I are going to have a great jam session with my drum, tambourine and these truly professional and lovely maracas.
