I used to love Lorex - they always seemed to be ahead of the curve with their product lines. EPIC FAIL WITH THIS UNIT. The interface is NOT user friendly. (it should be much easier to navigate - and, quite frankly, "more intelligent." - it is not. Get ready for a huge learning curve.Night vision is clear, but it picks up other cameras' IR and causes blind spots.For a 4K system, you should be able to zoom in and see a clear picture/video of your live feed and/or what your dvr records - no chance.Motion detection: annoyingly picks up every little leaf that moves; you would think that it'd be smart enough to detect a background that doesn't much change and only notify/make note of NEW INPUT: nope! Motion detection is useless.Camera failure: be ready to replace cams! The bullet cams are not as "water proof" or "weather friendly" as they could and should be.Installation: not easy - especially if you want the "wired" system out of reach.Also - speaking of wires; they are gray and burn to a crisp in the sun. I had to invest in insulated poe ethernet cable in black to avoid having to replace wiring.Shame on Lorex! This system should be phenomenal: it isn't. It's a huge disappointment.Waste of money. Waste of my time. Sure - they can ID up close no problem. But I own multiple acres - a 4k system should be able to handle the distance better.Wouldn't recommend.
