I ordered the larger size so that it would for sure fit over his clothes and he could wear it longer. I would simply slip it on him and button it and some mornings he wouldn't even wake up. He started wearing it when he was 6 months and can still wear it at 11 months and 19.5 pounds.The material super soft and stayed soft after many washes. The buttons are plastic but sewn in well and are durable. I have pllued on them many times and none are loose. It looks adorable also. Based on the title of the item saying "bear style," I was expecting the ears on the pink jumpsuit to be rounded like a bear as pictured on the brown jumpsuit. The ears on the pink are thin and narrow, almost resembling a bunny but not long and floppy enough to really be called rabbit ears. The ears are disappointing if using as a Halloween costume because it's not clear what animal you're trying to be. As a winter jumpsuit, it's adorable.
