Outstanding resource, best value for money
This is a very concise and to-the-point text book. Its topics include the right amount of anatomic/pathophysiologic/... backgrounds without glossing over important details. As far as GI text books go, there is no better bang for the buck, and more importantly, time.

Missing updated guidelines
This book provides a solid overview of gastroenterology diagnosis and treatment, but it lacks some of the latest guidelines from ACG. While the content is helpful and informative, it's missing recent updates, which are important for current clinical practice. A good resource, but it needs to be more up-to-date.
