We keep our bedroom between 68-69 year round, and it is perfect. The fabric feels cool on my feet when I have them kicked out. Our previous one was a little fuzzy, so it made my feet hot. We have 2 fans on at night because I like to feel the air circulating. This keeps the outside of the blanket cool, but we feel warm enough on the inside, but not hot. It is very soft and we purchased the king size for our queen bed. It is too big for the bed and drags the floor but I expected that. I don’t like to have to fight for covers. Now, the bad side. When I took it out of the packaging, it was beautifully packaged btw, there was a large discoloration and what looks like a small food? stain. I’m not sure what it is, but I ran it through the washer twice and dried it. The spots are still there. I positioned it so that the stains are down by our feet. It just seemed like too much trouble to try to send it back, and it was cheap enough that it doesn’t make me angry that it isn’t perfect.
