Hands down. Best collar I've owned.
So this is the second bousinic collar I have bought now. Yes they have lifetime warranty and when I had a issue with the controller early on they replaced it with with no hassle. Now why buy another. Well after 4 years the collar beep wasn't as loud and the vibration wasn't ask strong. I could im sure warranty it but why? This unit is fantastic for the price point. First battery life. I keep the collar and controller on 24/7. On the week days it is used 3 to 4 hours a day. Weekends 6 to 7 hours a day. If you own a dog you understand what I mean by used. He listens just needs the reminder. I have to charge both units about every 3 to 4 weeks. The basic functions work as they should. Aka the beep is loud but not overly so. The vibration is strong. The shock well it is adjustable so you can adjust appropriately. I rarely have to go above 3 or 4 but every dog is different. The range is much better than expected in the woods. The water proof works awesome. The controller itself is not waterproof of sorts. The recharge port is open not covered. Not a big deal though never had a problem. The collar is very water proof. My dog lives on the river on hot days. 4 years of swimming with it still completely water proof. The only complaint I may have is there is no "safety" feature to stop buttons use incase of accidentally hitting them. Now I solved that problem as controller is made to be able to control 2 collars. I just switch between collar 1 active and collar 2 inactive so there are no accidents. You want a reliable collar this is your buy. I will also say the collar clasp and fabric are still holding up perfectly after 4 years. I've tried to post pictures but Amazon won't let me keeps saying retry. My dog is a Australian red heeler mix smart but pig headed as some may know.

Reliable and Effective--So Good I Purchased a 2nd Time
This collar and remote are by far the most effective I've tried. This review is for the second collar/remote set I've purchased. I've previously purchased several really junky units, or units that I felt were uncomfortable for my dogs. This collar and remote are so much better. The collar unit has three sensations--a beep, a vibrate, and a "zing" (that's what I call it). The beep and vibrate are self-explanatory. The "zing" is interesting, because it is NOT an electric/battery shock like people often think when they see my dogs wearing their collars. The zing feels like a weak version of a "TENS" device stimulation. A lot of physical therapists use the TENS device after a treatment. The sensation doesn't hurt, but it's not comfortable. It's a very weird, gross feeling. It's so hard to explain unless someone has either used a TENS or put the collar on their skin and zinged themselves (which is a REALLY important thing to do, by the way, just to know what your dog will experience). I have one dog that is 17 pounds and another that is 105. My 17-pound guy is a major barker. He HATES the vibration mode. The beep is enough of a deterrent if he hasn't worked himself into a frenzy (which happens quickly, lol), but when I press the vibration button, he stops. The only times I've used the third sensation (I call it the "zing" mode) are once when he ran into the road and wouldn't respond to my call, and recently he started chasing someone's chickens. My 17-pounder (Boo) is the reason I initially purchased the collar, but somehow I lost the remote. We HAVE to have the collar for Boo. The remote can actually run TWO collars by sliding a button (up for one collar and down for the other). So, I purchased a second collar/remote combo (so then I had the new collar, the old collar and a new remote). I programmed the new remote to operate both the old and the new collars. My big guy (Sunny) is a thick-necked, 105-pound lab/retriever mix. The same collar adjusts to be big enough to fit him at the largest point. I hardly ever have to move past the beep with Sunny. It's loud and it irritates him. He'll usually shake his head and stop barking when he hears it. I've only had to use vibrate a handful of times. I have never once had to zing him. The collars have been so helpful, and if these wear out, I will definitely be repurchasing if needed (if I lose the remote again, lol).

Great collar! Can use without prongs for just a beep and vibration training option.
This is my second time buying since we got a new puppy. Love that you don’t have to use the prongs and can just use the sound and vibrations. Works well for training!

Works well
Collar works well. Good range. I tested the shock personally b4 putting on my dog and 4 is pretty strong (I didn’t feel the need to try any higher). There are three modes - beep, vibrate, and shock. My pitbull has a prey drive and on walks pulls intensely if another dog is near which is why I got this. He does not listen while in the yard if there is something he wants up a tree or on the other side of the fence. My dog reacts to just the beep, and every once and awhile I need to live to the vibrate warning. I like that I was able to remove the shock prongs since my boy does not need that. The reason I lost a star was first, when I had the shock prongs on at first, the rubber covers constantly fell off and I eventually lost one. Also the collar got very dirty, very fast and it’s kind of a pain to wash. I do think it’s pretty water resistant, I took him to the beach a few times with it and while he doesn’t love water it did get wet enough to say there is some resistance but we did not submerge very much. I did also walk him in the rain a couple times with no issues. The remote works well, however I have noticed the collar and the remote “disconnect” from time to time so each time b4 I let my boy out I have to push the power button on the back of the collar and the remote so I can be sure it’s connected in case I need to use it. I have been left with the remote in my hand and him out in the yard barking up a tree after midnight and couldn’t do a dang thing about it because the connection wasn’t being made. Kind of a bummer but after some time it’s become routine to check it before letting him out. It’s also pretty bulky but doesn’t bother me or him too much. Price was good too.

Puppy trainer
I bought this for my new puppy. I got it to train her to teach her good from bad. It worked just fine didn't have to use it long. She was a fast learner and I love her.

I have purebred Frenchie, they're a very stubborn breed and require lots of active training. However they have selective hearing so they often choose not to listen at all. My honest opinion on this collar is 1. This is a CORRECTIVE training collar. It is NOT meant to be automatic and is not designed to DISCIPLINE your dog. It is meant for active training, not for the dog to have it on forever. 2. If used correctly, it works very well. The idea behind a corrective collar is 2 warnings then a shock. This teaches the dog that they should follow a command before the first warning (the beep). It has been very effective within the first 24hrs as it is to be used for ALL commands (if your dog doesn't follow the command, hit the beep, repeat command and if not followed, hit the vibration button, repeat command 1 last time, if not followed hit shock. My dog has recognized if she doesn't follow the command the beep will sound and she usually immediately corrects herself and follows the command. 3. It is well built for a corrective collar, comes with the safe shock covers which are perfect, my dog listens well and it works well with free roaming and recall practice (have tested up to 800ft). It has proven to be a very effective training tool and I will continue to use this brand and recommend it. Very easy set up and works well, can easily control 2 dogs by switching channels (with extra collar). Please note that this collar is meant to fit dogs small- extra large so you may have to trim the collar down if you have a small-medium sized dog. As its nylon its easy to cut and then melt the edge so it doesn't fray and rip apart. I cut it down with about 4 inches left over as my dog is still a puppy and needs room to grow into it. So please make sure you cut it with room to spare in case of adjustments. My dog is very comfortable in it and is able to sleep just fine, i do take it off at night to charge it, however it last all day and im sure I could get more then one day out of a single charge. Taking her collar off at night is simply apart of her training to show that it won't be on permanently but she is still expected to follow command when it is off. Please remember that dogs will always push boundaries when training is involved, its your job to remind them that your in charge and to be respected but not feared. A scared dog is not a loyal one.

No intentions to use static shock as I don’t want to traumatize my pet, only using it to beep to bring his attention and the remote works from far distance

I should’ve bought this a long time ago. My families dog stopped barking with only the vibration mode. No more headaches from now on.
