HERSHEY'S Milk with Almonds Bars, Chocolate, 51.85 Ounce

My dad grew up near "Chocolatetown," so the love runs in the family. I've never lost my fondness. These bars are large, so you might want to stretch them out by breaking them up & keeping them in the back of the fridge.

I’m disappointed in the way that it is packed for shipping. A very large box and only a tiny wad of brown paper scrunched up as packing material. The bar, thankfully was sandwiched between two pieces of cardboard and sealed in a plastic bag.The day it arrived the temperature rose to a comfy 80’. I was lucky to be here when it was delivered to our mailboxes parcel lockup. I got it out of there within 5 minutes of delivery, thank goodness! Upon opening the big box I could feel the huge Hershey bar wanting to flex and bend. A tell tell sign that the chocolate is too warm. I immediately and gently placed it into the refrigerator to cool. Had I waited for even a half hour, the bar would have looked like the other melted ones in some other reviews that I read.I highly recommend this item be ordered only during cool weather.The one thing that I was a little disappointed about with the actual chocolate bar was that there are NO chocolate divided segments like are present on all the other Hershey bars found in the stores. It makes for a difficult separation of the bar. I have to use my large butcher knife to cut up my bar into bite size pieces. I actually consume approximately 1oz of Hershey chocolate every night before going to bed so cutting it into smaller pieces is difficult and time consuming. At $.45 cents per ounce I will just have to deal with it.I will be ordering this again and I will make sure that it is cool weather before doing so.NO MATTER WHAT …. HERSHEY IS GREAT!

First off. There's just something about Hershey's chocolate. Full disclosure: American here. We know that most of the world doesn't understand this, but we love this stuff so hard it's not even funny. Why? Because we've been eating it since before we could pronounce "chocolate." Childhood is when your tastes are forming and American kids (mostly) consume these early and often. So our palates are conditioned (ruined) pretty quickly. After that, when we want Hershey's nothing else will do. We know it's butyric acid. We don't care.Secondly, like most kids, I was only allowed one regular size bar a day, if that. Definitely good parenting, but the 8 year old that still lives inside me saw this listing and he immediately growled "Do it! Order them now!" Typically I ignore him when he tells me to slide down a railing in public, hum the song Time Is On My Side while standing in line at the store or to do the Funky Chicken while I'm waiting for my wife to come out of a public restroom. But this time.... THIS time he was making sense. My wife even gawked at the box as I triumphantly pulled it from it's delivery vessel. (3/4 empty Amazon box) Then she said "Why did you get so many?" I forgive her.There is no way to properly describe popping open this box to reveal these XL bars with the gold accents. Not gonna lie, fam. I got a little tingle up my spine. You can chuckle if you want, but for me it's the little things. Sometimes in the middle of your crazy life, all you want is a little chocolate and a little love. You know what? Chocolate is a lot easier to come by in this world, and that's a fact. There's your social commentary for the day. Let's all get high on chocolate and go spread some love around. If you're not American, we love Cadbury too!Finally, if you're on the fence, here are two things to consider. Is it above 70 degrees before noon today? Pump the brakes. Even with dry ice packaging you are taking a chance. Also, remember these are the XL bars. These are the size of a small Paperback and thicker than the regular or "sharing size." I mean, I can make an entire bar disappear in 3 minutes but just realize this is 3.3 pounds of chocolate. Did that just freak you out or make you start bouncing up and down excitedly? Former: skip it. Latter: Pull the trigger now.

Chocolate was great but...... it was soft, I put it in the fridge and it was back to normal!

Not as ridiculously expensive as the other offerings on here. Everybody knows Hershey bars are great, but what are you going to pay for them?

Product was packaged very well. Included a cold pack! Very impressed! Ya cant beat a Hershey chocolate for Halloween !

Well I can't buy these anymore because I have enough of a hard time eating healthy and well... they are addicting.

I order this for kiddos every year once or twice a year and it's never been any issues... Not even a chip or broken pieces. We've always had good packaging & delivery. idk wth happened here but yeah This here deff. look like this years party pooper ugh

Cant find these here in Quebec..they only sell the creamy milk chocolate bars and kisses...which do not compare at all to the authentic hersheys chocolate..

This is the cheapest place I found this item. Shipped to Canada. Well packaged. Expensive per ounce. I believe it will be unforgettable Easter. Rock star status with the kids
