It was a novel experience, putting this sheet on the bed for the first time. No more wrestling in order to just about snag a corner of the fitted sheet over the mattress - it fitted easily and covered the whole mattress, including the sides. I remember other reviewers mentioning that it is a bit thinner than they might have expected and that it wrinkles a lot, and I would agree with both things, although, should you wish to iron it, it would be relatively easy, as it's not elasticated all the way around, just at the corners. But for ease of application and that wonderful 100% cotton crisp feel, it is great - and good value! I plan to buy another.

The item was returned because it was quite thin and not to the expected quality.

For the price, this is a very good sheet, very akin in softness and sensation to good, high thread count Egyptian cotton. The point of give is the thinness - it is thin, but when it is at least £10 less for a supering fitted sheet, than any other high thread count, soft, luxury, Egyptian cotton, I can live with this.
