Excellent for ridding your pet(s) and home of FLEAS
Effective Products , Excellent Value โ I am reviewing 3 products in combination: ADAMS Plus Flea & Tick Carpet Powder, PetArmor Home & Carpet Spray, and Amazon's Topical Flea Treatment for Cats (if you have a dog, purchase the correct topical for him/her!). It's important to understand how a flea infestation works in order to successfully rid both your pet(s) and your home of fleas. If you're dealing with fleas, read my reviews and consider my suggestions. First, treat your pet(s). My cat was acting differently, with over-grooming, changes in personality and vigor, and increased vocalization โ all signs that something was wrong. Before applying Amazon's Topical Flea Treatment, I combed her thoroughly and removed nearly 100 fleas. But those were only the fleas that were on the cat. Then tackle the environment. Vacuum EVERYTHING, and throw the vacuum bag away afterward. I then treated the carpets with ADAMS Flea Powder, working it into the fibers and leaving it overnight before vacuuming it up. Follow the product directions and keep pets away from treated areas until they are safe. Next, I sprayed the furniture, bedding, baseboards, tight spaces and other appropriate areas with PetArmor Home & Carpet Spray. This spray works As an "adulticide", preventing reproduction and stops the reproduction cycle. IMPORTANT: Don't expect the fleas to Die or Disappear immediately. The adult fleas you see on your pet are only one stage of the flea life cycle. Eggs fall off into the environment, where they develop into larvae and eventually pupae. Those pupae can remain protected until conditions are right for them to emerge as adult fleas. After a short while, you will notice much smaller fleas on your pet. These are the next generation that have been waiting to hatch and will soon die. This process/cycle takes a few weeks in order for the powder, spray and topical do their job. Remember: you can treat your pet and your home correctly and still see fleas afterward. A newly appearing flea doesn't necessarily mean the treatment failed โ it may have already been developing in your home before you ever started treatment. That's why vacuuming, environmental treatment and treating the pet need to be done together and continued for several weeks. You're not simply killing the fleas you see; you're breaking an established life cycle. In my case, I continued combing the cat every day (she loves it), vacuuming every few days. The number of fleas eventually dropped dramatically until I was finding virtually none. Don't judge your treatment by whether you see live fleas after the treatments. Be persistent and give the process time to work. IT can take weeks before being completely Flea-Free!

Powder did its jobโฆpackaging people didnโt.
Upon receiving the powder. I noticed the box had powder falling out from the openings in the folds. And whenever I would rotate the box, you can hear the powder moving all over, while losing some to it falling out of the box. I didnโt know it would be that bad when I opened it. The Can was open and the lid was free moving. However, I was able to salvage the powder that was loose and inside of the box. After collecting the loose powder, I spread it in our room, left for about an hour and came back and noticed fleas at the top surface of our carpet, dead. I have yet to see any live ones within the hour. But I am going to leave the powder for a couple of more hours to let it settle. To sum it up, the powder is doing its job, just a package fault. PS! THE POWDER SCENT IS STRONG!

Does NOT seem to work
Does not kill anything on contact, waste of money. They still be jumping and hollering in the vacuum container full of powder, the room is currently full of powder since Monday morning, inl walk in there and come out with fleas on my legs, it ain't killing anything. Oh by the way, I also used the adams cat indoor flea control,so for me to walk in room full of powder, stand start having fleas on my legs only means powder and spray ain't doing anything. Otherwise they would be dead, too dead to jump around.....

Did not work. Bad for your lungs
The lid was so flimsy that it completely broke off and dumped out a ton of powder, when I first tried to sprinkle it on the carpet. After sprinkling the powder, I used a broom to ensure that the powder was getting into the carpet, by lightly patting with the bristles (as directed in instructions). Even with the tiniest tap of the broom, the powder would come flying up into the air, making it hard to breathe. I had the good sense to wear a mask but later discovered 6 hrs later, I was still coughing. Even though it was damaging my lungs, I was so desperate to get rid of the fleas that I did a 2nd application 2 weeks later. The 1st application did nothing and I still had fleas biting at my ankles. 1 month has gone by and unfortunetly the fleas remain
