Strong and flavourful
There’s loads of choice for coffee pods now and these are one of the best for me. A great expresso shot and as the description suggests there’s a bitter aftertaste. For me personally I like that and you can always take the edge off with a bit of milk or just some milk froth.

The best Nespresso coffee so far
5 stars because I love coffee ... well, espresso, and this Lavazza Espresso Maestro Ristretto is one of the best I tasted so far. I tested several other brands most of them very inferior to this one but 2 of them were very good, probably a bit better taste and flavour then Lavazza Espresso Maestro Ristretto, not too much, but I am also reviewing the price range and the Lavazza is worth it. But, if the price goes up near the other 2 brands I tested, the 5 stars can drop to 4. Tested it with several machines and always with good result. So Lavazza Espresso Maestro Ristretto is my choice ... for now.

Pods liable to crush in machine
I won't be buying these particular Lavazza pods again .. they have a tendency to get crushed for some reason - my guess is that I have lost about a third of the pods . What happens is when you start a pod , if it's about to crush , the coffee flow slows down and stops.. the machine is still trying to force water thru the pod.. and the pressure crushes the pod itself. These are the only pods where this happens. I did report this to Lavazza in Italy z and they just said thank you for letting them know. UPDATE: Issue still persists .. the foil in the front on some does not pierce , so there is nowhere for the water and pressure to go. Lavazza have not reached out , so poor customer service I feel from them.

Disappointing
I ordered this with the expectation that the Lavazza brand would provide a super coffee. Is is supposed to be strength 12. It was very weak and thin flavour. I will be returning to the Amazon capsules.

Buonissimo il caffe lavazza maestro ristretto
Il Lavazza maestro ristretto è un ottimo caffe veramente buono con tanta panna e un ottimo aroma, poi le cialde sono bellissime nere e firmate Luigi Lavazza sono il top. Io ho una nespresso lattissima one ed esce fuori buonissimo come tutti gli altri caffe lavazza compatibili con nespresso, il crema e gusto forte il crema e gusto ricco sono i migliori caffè in assoluto assieme a quest' ultimo arrivato 🔝

Oserei dire: superb... 🔥 Ottimo acquisto forse il migliore che abbia fatto fino adesso con il caffè ..ristretto cremoso, gusto forte ma deciso. Lo consiglio per chi ama il caffè massiccio.
