I just want it to be smooth and attractive without requiring much work be put into it. I'm not stressing my hair out with heat tools, so it should return the favor and just look nice. Period.That cooperative existence is a fantasy, and has been for probably 3/4ths of my life. I was born with only a little bit of hair, and by age one my mom was taping bows onto my head for pictures because I still didn't have enough hair for a bow. After that it came in and grew like crazy. Crazy thick and full of tangle-prone curls, so much so that my mom got me a short boy-style haircut for 1st or 2nd grade so we wouldn't have to deal with that anymore. My hair was long again when I was responsible for brushing it. But even at its healthiest my hair has always been happy to frizz, and (living in the PNW) it had plenty of opportunity for that. Washing my hair makes it lighter and fluffy and hard to do anything with. Clips and bands slide out or at least loosen enough to look sloppy, just when I need them the most during that too soft period after washing. I can't say that this shampoothie made things hugely different, my hair is sofffft after washing with this, but it is both clean and smoother at the same time! My hair also smelled phenomenal, though I am at a total loss for how to describe the fragrance. I was surprised at how much scent my hair had after the first use because the product has only a hint of scent at all in the bottle.My hair has changed in the years since turning 40, there's barely a wave left of all those frustrating curls, and it's dull, so I'm excited to be using the Argan Oil formula on it. I received this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review, but I will almost certainly be purchasing this again all on my own when the bottle is gone.CONDITIONER SMOOTHIEWe have arrived at the second act of our real Raw Hair Care Journey, that being the Argan Oil Miracle smoothie conditioner. It too smells like almost nothing in the bottle, but again in the shower and on wet hair it smells lovely. It also builds upon the softness of the hair the Shampoothie started. This is probably the one most responsible for the smoothness, but they both have silk proteins in them to improve strength & elasticity. I have been enjoying this product and anticipate repurchasing it when this bottle runs out. I'm thinking the set may be a nice gift for others this coming holiday season. They both smell fresh and pleasant, like a mild tropical smoothie. The shampoo lathered well and didn’t require a large amount to get the job done. The conditioner was nice and left my shoulder length, aging hair smooth and soft. Both products rinsed out easily, leaving no heavy or greasy residue to weight my hair down; just smooth and flowing. I tend to have fly away and sometimes frizzy hair; this product left my hair w minimal frizz and just the right amount of shine and flow.
