Just assembled and only used once. So far, I love having it and the ease of use. One person can remove and replace top in only a few minutes. Directions sucked but we managed. No real problems. Not very stable, store loaded unit in a safe place. Concerned that lift ratchet design is weak but we'll see.

The tool works as it’s supposed to (it takes the top off a Jeep). However, the instructions-if you want to call them that-are TERRIBLE. Also, there is an issue in that it will only lower the top so far, you would need a second set of hands anyway to put it onto a stand or on the ground, but if you had a higher platform you’d be okay (which I did). The only reason they say this takes as long as it does to put together is because you need that much time to figure out the instructions.

Directions suck. Pitchers are bad. Doesn't seem to be made four my 4 door. If I had a 2 door it probably would be better. Very unstable. Wasted money. Lots of extra washers and screws.

Instructions were inaccurate, and missing vital informational steps. The product SEEMS like it would work, but it actually does NOT work with a 4 door (the roll bar gets in the way of the front extensions). Super unstable and shaky; do not recommend.

I like it. It allows me to remove the roof by myself. Some slight modifications on rachet/ locking mechanism and it works like a charm. I’d buy it again!

Instructions are AWFUL. I’ve seen instructions printed in another language that were easier to understand than these ones that were printed in my native tongue! Pictures are awful, step by step is awful, lots of extra parts that leave you scratching your head. Once assembled, (had to find you tube videos to do it because instructions were so bad. ) it doesn’t seem to be ideal for a 4 door. Roll bar gets in the way of the extensions. Once top is lifted off, this liftseems unstable. Should have spent a little more on a better lift.

I've been working on this assembly for a year because the instructions are horrible, I'm finally almost done but there is something very wrong with the hand brake assembly lever so it does nothing to allow the car to move up down... don't waste your money like I did and Amazon needs to investigate why this is being sold under different names as it seems to be a huge scam overall.
