eBarb's"The Original" English Plate Hanger Disc-a Quantity of Four 2 Inch Hangers

I have two sets of decorative plates I hung using these discs and they are both holding strong after almost 10 years. The Command hook I used to hang a very light weight wreath, well below the weight limit listed, recently failed after about 2 months. I ordered more hanging discs because I received a 100th anniversary Disney commemorative plate as a gift and I don't trust it to anything else. Not only are these reliable, but they are invisible, unlike metal plate holders. They are also very good for irregularly shaped plates.

I've used these type of hangers for years. They are ez to apply, adhere well, ez removal, and reasonably priced. Just follow the enclosed application directions. You will have nice results.

I followed directions and even waited another 24 hours before hanging a platter. In the middle of the night I was startled awake by a hug noise downstairs ( why does stuff like this happen at night?!) and when I went downstairs I discovered my plastic platter had come undone from the disk and fell to the ground. Glad I tried it on the plastic platter vs. the ceramic and porcelain plates…. Plastic platter did still chip tho. Super bummed, what a waste on money and time. Since then, two more disks have failed and thankfully given the failure of the original, I hadn’t hung those plates yet

After reading some of the reviews about these types of plate hanger discs and how not all the disc hangers are created equal, I decided to go with "The Original" that is noted on these discs. I prepared my plates as instructed, and was a little hesitant about how much water to put on the backing so it wouldn't be too watered down, but everything worked out perfectly. Make sure the disc is tacky all the way out to the edges and press firmly in place as the instructions direct. I have my plates an extra day to make sure they were good and dry, but they're up on the wall, look great, and solid. I'll buy these again for sure!

My wife has used several of these to hang small plates on the wall and she swears by them. They are easy to use and work very well. We both highly recommend this product.

They were easy to apply and they really hold up heavy items and they allow my plates to look great without showing any hardware. I shared this product with my decorating friends and they loved it too!

easy to use and seem secure so far! followed instructions carefully. cut down one for a very small plate and was easy enough.

I had looked high and low for some product to use to hang dessert size plates without having to use the clunky plate hangers. These looked great, and the reviews were good for the most part. I followed the instructions to a T. My success rate was one out of three plates: the adhesive did not hold on one of the three plates, causing it to fall to the floor in the middle of the night. Another was felled by a faulty Command hook, but the disc held. Didn't matter, as the plate was destroyed anyway. I am not sure I would try again, so may go back to the clunky plate hangers. Fortunately the plates, while I was fond of them, were not family heirlooms or anything. Still liked them, but oh, well!
