I stick to my self better than I stick to the project!
We used this product to paint our designs on sets for theater production of music man. Large canvas walls that were primed. The first issue we came across with âTiger Tough Professionalâ painters tape was, in fact very tough to get off the roll in one longe strip! When you tried to pull it off it would tear and make jagged strips continuously. Wasting time and tape. If you have ever put on a school production you will know both of these thing are in short supply. When I was able to get the strips off in one pice ( way too many little pieces had to be used to make a long one) âTiger Tough Professionalâ would have to be pressed back down before you painted, and that was when weâre working horizontally. When we placed the set pieces vertically there were times when often after working to place the design for hours, you would come black to it and it had just about all come off. Gravity is not âTiger tough Professionalâ friend. âTiger Tough Professionalâ blue painters tape was however extremely easy to remove, and we did not have an excessive amount of paint bleed, I do attribute that to the factor that everyone learns very quickly that if you didnât press it back down before you painted you were painting more than once.! I wouldnât say this product is a total fail but if you are doing large scale things and you want LONG clean strips of tape that have staying power, use 3M or Frog tape. I went with the cheaper option to try and keep the budget tight but it cost me time and energy in the long run. All things are not made equal, but I was hoping! I should know better.

Very thin backing
This tape may work great for painting applications. However, due to it's very thin backing material it is difficult to use it for other applications. When you unroll a length of tape it immediately rolls back up - sticking to itself. If the end of the tape reforms to the roll once it is ripped off the roll it is difficult to restart it. You end up, due to the thin backing material, with a number of separate strands of tape being started. If you're careful you might be able to minimize wasted tape to only 8-10 inches.UPDATE (1/22/2022) - Problem solved. I bought some 3M/Scotch brand masking tape. It works a lot better. I threw this product in the garbage.

Best I have tried
You want tape to stick, but not to leave residue. This tape has the power to stick really well and stay put, but didn't leave any residue at all. We used it to tape down cords for a retreat and even with people stepping on them sometimes and one getting rolled over with a cart daily, the tape held up all three days. When we swept the room at the end, there were not lines of dust stuck in tape residue on the floor. I was quite impressed. (And tape isn't typically all that impressive)

Meh
Spent more time and wasted more tape trying to pull pieces off to use. It came off the roll very poorly, ripped in the wrong direction, so much of the roll was wasted. Worked well when I was able to use it though.
