Works great not a problem with the hooks as far as they do the job. Only problem I see is the one with the gold flakes, the gold wears off pretty quickly and your left with a yellow spot.

Would recommend.

I wanted to take up crocheting again and since I didn't have any of the needles I figured I'd get a pack on Amazon. I like them but sometimes the rubber piece slips off it can get a little annoying but it is what it is.

Love the hooks, hate that there’s an itty bitty velcro net and cheap plastic bags holding the loops, needles, and literally everything else in a terribly designed space.

These are my favorite crochet hooks because it's not necessary to grip the hook and they don't slide around in my hand. I can crochet for hours without my hand getting tired. They would be excellent for someone with arthritic hands. The only problem with them is that the size markings are barely readable. The markings are just stamped into the handle with no contrast so it must be held at just the right angle in just the right light.I like the carrying case to keep all the sizes together. With such a range of sizes I'm all set for any future projects.

I used to use regular, non-ergonomic hooks when I started out crocheting and they worked well for me, but it felt a bit off having something so slim in my hand working with it. I ordered a different set of hooks like these about a year ago and was upset when I lost a mainly used one along the way, so I ordered this set and I don't see myself going back to standard hooks. It fills my hand more than standard hooks, they're light weight and comfortable in the hand. I have less hand strain using these and although a few of the colors were similar in shade (did not match the picture shown above) I could still differentiate them for their size. The carrying case felt like a stiffer felt material and a bit scratchy, so I decided not to use it. Other than that, I would highly recommend these hooks
