I live in North Florida. Mosquitoes are real! This keeps them and other pests away while I enjoy some time on the back porch after work. Refill kits are inexpensive and there is not much maintenance at all-change pad and butane bottle-pretty simple. Only complaint is sometimes it doesn't start easy. Now I realize this is mainly due to an air bubble in the butane bottle from shipping, but still is a pain to get going sometimes. But it's not all the time and definitely not enough for me not to give as gifts for others. I really like it, so do they!

I've seen so many products that CLAIM to keep mosquitoes away, but my blood is that special vintage that attracts swarms.I was in the Poconos for three weeks and I didn't get bit ONCE at camp.Yes... the refills are a bit on the pricey side, but it was worth every penny.

Only works for 2 hrs not 4 and refills are expensive.

I use this when I’m outside camping, having a fire, or smoking a cigar. They work great for mosquitoes. I like the ones that are scent free. They don’t make any noise while they’re running which is a plus since it just uses a small flame.

We purchased this product to sit next to us outside as we camp. We live in Florida with many bugs. We were really hoping that this would help with controlling the bugs. First, there is a light that is supposed to light up once ignited. That would only light here and there. Not consistent. Literally sat it on a table right next to us and bugs everywhere. This says a 15 ft radius- it didn’t even cover a 2 ft radius. Tried to return it and states ineligible. So, thought let’s try it again and give it another chance. Even more frustrating. Again, light wouldn’t light. Eventually, got it lit and bit up by bugs again. Would not recommend. We’ll stick to bug spray or another alternative. Disappointing that we can’t get our money back.

Given size and ease of use overall this a great product. Perfect to set on the porch or near the grill! However, there is a down side. The liquid cartridges do not last that long and I find we have to change them out too often. So be prepared to buy plenty of refills.

I got one as a gift and HAD TO buy another one!! We rent a home and the mosquitoes are HORRIBLE! We couldn’t go outside last year at all without being COVERED with mosquitoes! Now I just turn this thing on give it a few minutes and not a mosquito in site!!
