I love this tripod! I just got it today & am writing the review today because it’s the best that I’ve seen in a long while; I highly recommend it.

If you style wigs, or just need a tripod in general, this is really the only one to own. I’ve tried about 3 others and they were all made with plastic joints and parts that broke or the stand was just functionally impractical. Sturdy, reliable and a good investment

It’s okay I would not buy it again

I bought this thinking it would be high quality but after just 5 months it fell apart. This is dangerous because I was styling with hot tools on a mannequin head when the top piece fell off causing the mannequin head to fall. I cannot even contact the seller. I am disappointed and this was a waste of my money

For many of my mannequin heads, I only have the smaller clamp-on system that comes with some of them. I thought this tripod would be the perfect addition for any display I might choose to have. The tripod comes in a handy carrying case, one that’s lightweight, but works well. As soon as I opened the bag, I was impressed with the quality.Now, I’ve had camera tripods that aren’t nearly as sturdy as this one is. It’s made of a very heavy-duty aluminum alloy along with some stainless components. All the hardware is quite solid, including what appears to be impact-resistant leg locks. The head, of course, is different than the one on a camera. It holds the ball that goes into the base of a standard mannequin.It does have that 360° ability to rotate and has a 90° swivel. The ball is very solid and I can adjust the position quite easily. The tripod is well-balanced with an anti-topple base and can be adjusted for whatever height I might want. It can be used on a tabletop or expanded up to a whopping 63”. I love the sturdiness and structure of this tripod but the mannequin head keeps moving. I don’t know if I received a defective stand or if this is the standard, but it is very difficult to do anything when the mannequin is not stable. I had to end up switching back to my old tripod - not money well spent

This Wig Stand Tripod is extremely sturdy, well made, and makes creating wigs and hair pieces so much easier than a table stand. I've been a Stylist for over 30 years, and this is the best piece of equipment I've found in a long time. It is a bit tight when setting it up and adjusting it, but it's well worth it, given its quality.I've always used stands that hook to a table or station, and they have "worked", but not like this tripod. It can be put at a height that I am comfortable working at, whether it be standing up or sitting on a stool. Working at the nape of the neck/head is a breeze because of how far the mount can swivel in all directions.I have several brands of wig blocks and a few styrofoam heads, and all of them fit the mount just fine. They do not wobble around, but stay on firmly. It just makes creating wigs and hair pieces so much easier, from beginning to end.This wig stand tripod is such a well made, easy to use, very sturdy piece of equipment that all wig and hair piece creators would be happy to own. It would also be wonderful for those who are in school, practicing cuts, styles, or a myriad of other things. It is a good quality tripod and I would absolutely recommend it to all Stylist's, Wig Makers, those who are in practice, and/or just in fun mode. You won't be disappointed!

Quality feels great as far as design it’s well built for the price. Definitely worth the price and I love that it’s made out of aluminum or a metal type of material.The only thing I wish it had as far as a design is a foot pedal attachment option.My mannequin head fits well no problems .Overall - very happy with my purchase

Completely missing one foam cover and scratched up. But it's sturdy, and the top tightens. Silver beg is a bit small, but I have a good one that I will switch it with.If I received a brand new one, I would have gave it 4 stars.
