Root Mushroom Farm-King Oyster Mushroom Grow Kit

I don't know if I just got a dud, but mine wouldn't grow at all. I followed the original instructions to no result, then tried soaking the entire thing overnight and starting over, still nothing.

The first flush of mushrooms grew pretty well, and the mycelium had little trouble spreading to additional substrate. I only had one issue that I bought up with the seller who was able to help me in a few days time.

UPDATE. Week 5. After soaking the dried out grow bag in water overnight and placing it in my fruiting chamber for another week, I finally got mushrooms.Unfortunately it never fruited. Not in the supplied moisture retaining bag, not a fruiting chamber either. I fear it was completely dried out when I received it. As a last resort I soaked it in water for 24 hours, but that didn’t help either. After 4 unsuccessful weeks I will now request a refund.

I've messaged the seller twice with no response. Followed the directions carefully but no luck.

Took some time to start pinning, super impressed with overall size and quality of these mushrooms.

So I bought this king mushroom spawn back in May, set it on a shelf and promptly forgot about it. It is currently September , I opened the box on my shelf like what's this??? Well I took that spawn that had been sitting there, tossed it in a tub with wood chips a couple weeks ago as I assumed it had eaten all its nutrition from the original stuff. It colonized rapidly and is now pinning.I was surprised, I really thought it had dried out and died but nope! They live and are very happy despite my neglect.

Waste of money

It stinks but it doesn’t grow mushrooms.
