597-36 Range Hood, 36 in, Stainless Steel

I did a lot of research before buying this hood. It's a Pro-Series with 4 speeds and at high speed (55 decibels) you can still have a normal volume conversation standing at the stove. Very heavy 19 gauge stainless steel - the hood weighs about 50 lbs. Mine came with halogen lights; I called them and for $20 they sent me the LED lights. I also ordered the optional stainless steel crown moulding to finish it off. This hood is definitely a focal point in my new kitchen with all the features I wanted and a 3-year warranty. You won't be disappointed.

Highly recommend. Best value for a 36 lower profile hood. Looks great and performs well over 36 Wolf 6 burner range. It also has no branding so it doesn't clash with the other name brand appliances in my kitchen. I seared steaks on a grill pan and finished them in the oven. The hood extracted all the smoke and left my house smelling normal. It is louder than the models with exterior fans, but it is not too loud or obnoxious on highest setting for me or my family. I hope it is as dependable as it is good looking.

It was quite than our old system and easy to install. The button controls are easy to figure out, there are different levels of suction with different noise levels.

i bought that for my new home and this is the first time happen with me, its not fix my home because my home low, i return and pay shipping 40% $350 for the item is not fix my home, that is supprise me a lot, and i think about the prime. this is cost $1000

I really expected better. If it wasn't already mounted on my wall, I'd be sending it back (and still just might) - I am not at all happy with this transaction in any way.I literally LOL'd - I got a big kick out of the "QC inspection passed" sticker on the inside of the hood. Someone needs to inspect the inspector.FIRST: There are WAY TOO MANY sharp edges that should have been deburred/filed down. But it passed inspection, right? These sharp edges are absolutely unacceptable - they will cut you and cut you very badly if you're not exceedingly careful. I was very careful myself, wore gloves the whole time and still managed to get a nasty cut on my hand when I slipped attaching the worm gear clamp that I had to buy separately.The worst of the sharp-edged pieces are part of the baffle/filter, you know, the part that you'll literally be handling all the time, unlike any other part of this device.Speaking of the baffle/filter: it's horribly designed and the instructions for assembly are NO help at all (more on that in a minute).there are two pieces that you have to insert in to place in order for the baffle/filters to be held in place.They look like they're magnetized (they're not) and you have to do some inspection to see how they're to be positioned because the instructions are horrible.But once you figure out how they go, then you realize they hang out beyond the edge of the main structure and are an eye-sore (that is if aesthetics and clean lines are of any concern to you). otherwise there is no way to hold the baffle/filters in place.This item is pictured as having the crown molding as part of what's included. It was missing from my box and despite my attempts to get clarity from Amazon and the seller, there was no resolution.The instructions speak of a "transition piece" - the 587-30 model DOES NOT include one, just be aware.you'll be pulling off protective film for days and even then you may, if you're lucky like me, odd scratches UNDERNEATH the protective film. (But it passed inspection, right?)The operation is just weird - you have to hit the power button 2x then select the speed you want then hit the power button 2x again to turn it off.The fan itself isn't too loud. it's not quiet, but it's not overwhelming. but it doesn't seem to really pull hard at all. I tested all 4 speeds and the highest speed seems to be the equivalent of a simple fan mildly blowing. I had to go on to the roof to the vent I installed (because there is no hardware for the actual vent included in this one other than the wall-mounting hardware) to see if it was actually working. Very mild performance and the performance is the primary reason I bought THIS specific one. Sorely disappointed there.The icon for power is a timer (the first press of power turns the timer on, then the second for regular operation?) It's just weird. The buttons feel cheap too - they don't feel like they're put in correct/designed well.Now let's talk about the instructions:the QR code linked video instructions are roughly 1 minute long and they're not helpful. You can check the YouTube comments to see what people really think about the helpfulness (or lack thereof) of those videos.Then, not to be outdone, the instruction booklet itself, when it comes to poor instructions says, "hold my beer".... the instruction manual is vague and unclear at pretty much every step.It does not address your specific model (the 587 30 inch is the one I got). I had to call the company (not the seller, don't get me started there) to get answers. The good news is that an easy-to-understand, and helpful human answered the phone when I called the support number, and provided a quick and helpful answer to my question.Is there anything I like about it?There aren't enough things I like to keep it but there are two things I want to point out:The housing itself that's made of stainless seems to be of very high-quality stainless - like higher quality than you'd normally encounter in kitchen appliances from big name brands. It feels like it's sturdy, and overall well-put-together.The LED lamps are nice too. I love under-hood lights - they're a great subtle light for your kitchen when you don't need the big overhead/harsh lights on. These are nice though - I like them, and they can be moved which is a nice bonus.The bottom line:They market themselves as "attainable luxury" but ***this one should have never left the factory in the shape that it's in.***Either that or whoever put that sticker on it that proclaimed that it had "passed inspection" should be fired. Seriously. How does a company who markets themselves as "attainable luxury" products pay such little attention to detail? It's the small details that make luxury luxury.Overall disappointing. If I were you, and you're considering this model, I'd keep looking.

Beautiful hood. Super easy to install. Just a bit loud but great suction power. Check hood carefully. Took us three orders as previous 2 hoods came damaged (dents) or flawed (buffing smudges on corners) that were obvious.

Simply love it!
