The drag adjusts nicely and has a good click, not too loud or too quiet. The anti-reverse stops without any slack in the handle and there's no loose play on the handle spindle so it feels well engineered. Pity about the line lay, it loads heavier to the back, so you can't get the line close to the top spool edge. It won't matter on 20 gram plus lures as they'll have plenty of weight to fly out there, but on light lures it could affect casting a little, but I can't see it being a major issue if you load it as far as it will go.
