I love BaByliss hair tools, they’re top tier quality and I love the results they give me! This flat iron leaves my hair so smooth, no snagging! Very easy to use and has an awesome range of temperature for heat settings! Definitely my favorite flat iron 😊💕 Highly recommended brand and flat iron! I really love mine! The only thing I was sad about is that there scratching on the name of the flat iron that had parts of the letter missing so I hope it was not previously handled, I wish it wasn’t like that.. I don’t hold it against them. Babyliss is a phenomenal brand and worth the money!

First off, I have very thin, fine, oily and curly hair that I have to wash every day <SIGH>. With other straighteners I've used (cheapest one at the store), my hair would practically start curling at the ends w/in the hour. So I started reading reviews on the MANY flat irons out there. I tried a chi but it didn't have temp control (set at ~425 degrees I think) and that was literally burning my hair. It did straigten but hair seemed stiff.So after reading the wonderful reviews on this, I purchased it through Amazon and I love it! I don't even have to blow dry my hair (unless I'm looking for extra volume). I just let it dry naturally and usually only have to go through each section once. I use it at the lowest temp which is 300 degrees which works great for me and it takes less than 10 min. It stays straight for most of the day and leaves my hair looking shiny. This isn't super thin but by no means bulky and it heats up fast. I'm so relieved to finally find something that works well for my hair!*** UPDATE***:About 3 weeks into using this something went wrong with the circuitry and it literally burned off a chunk of hair! Since I'd never heard of anything like that happening in the hundreds of reviews I'd read, I know something must have gone wrong w/ my unit. So I returned it with no problems.Now instead of ordering the same thing again, I decided to get the 1" unit (BaByliss Pro BABNT3072 Nano Titanium-Plated Ultra-Thin Straightening Iron, 1 Inch) instead b/c I figured it would be less bulky and I could use it as a curler too. Unfortunately, the 1" unit did not work as well as this one. It straightened my hair but I had to go over sections a couple of times and it didn't keep my hair straight for as long. It also didn't feel like the plates went through my hair as smoothly. I don't know if I didn't adjust the temp right but I just couldn't get it to mimic the results I had with the original iron so I returned that one too.I'm gonna research a little more but I think I'll probably purchase the original one again. Hopefully my incident was just a fluke.

I love this straightener, my hair gets not only very straight and smooth but also shiny!Excellent for also doing Brazilian blowout!

Not just for long hair and put a WOW in my mid-length short hair. I’d been using an old ceramic 1 inch same brand and realized it was time for upgrade. The new tech made all the difference in managing and styling and it was quicker with a 1.5, actually controlled my curl easier. The light weight and ultra thin sleekness was so easy to use. Very much worth the price , I’m happy.

My hairdresser has this, so I wanted it too! It is amazing! Perfectly hot and NEVER pulls out my hair. I have been waiting for decades for someone to make a hair tool that doesn’t have assembly gaps that catch hair and pull it out! They have done it! It feels so good to flat iron my hair! (Use it for curls too!)

My last flat iron was a Sedu that I've had for 5+ years. Unfortunately I broke it when using it in Europe, so I opted for a couple cheaper brands to see what else was out there (even though I LOVED my Sedu). I tried the HSI Professional, Sedu Revolution and the Babyliss Pro Ultra Thin to compare them.. ultimately, I kept the Babyliss.Note: I have Asian hair; very coarse, thin (volume wise), and layered ALL over. So many layers.This review is based on my hair and may differ for other types of hairs.PROS:- Super slim design. It keeps the ~1" width from top to bottom of the handle (most other flat irons taper toward the bottom to a bigger width). This thin width makes it VERY comfortable to hold in the hand (and I have small hands). Also this takes up VERY little space when traveling.- Heats up quickly; I never have to wait for it to warm up before using it- Swivel cord, and it's super long.- Smooth plates; it doesn't catch my hair or pull it at all. Most flat irons will pull/snag my hair but these plates do not!- Plates are 5" long, a lot longer than normal plates. This allows me to flat iron a lot more hair at once, making the process quicker- Long overall length. Initially I thought this iron was too long but it actually makes it easier/more comfortable to iron the back of my hair.CONS:- No auto shutoff- The temperature dial is just numbered 1-5 and does not show the actual degrees- My last Sedu came with a protective heat sleeve and this one did not- Is not designed to work internationally (dual-voltage)- The handles get very hot on the plate ends/middle. You have to be careful to hold the iron toward the bottom.I still think tourmaline plates give my hair better shine than these titanium plates, but due to the price, ergonomics, and smooth feel (no snagging), I opted to keep this iron. I like it! But it's not perfect (which is why I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars).
