The magnet isn’t crazy strong, but it’s perfect for typing on a surface like a table of pillow. I wanted a decent keyboard, but I only need it half of the time. I needed one that was compact and easy to add or take away. You can either put a pencil in the slot or there’s a magnetized space on top. The case still closes normally with the pencil on top or bottom. I wouldn’t recommend if you want to always use the keyboard, especially if you’re getting it for school, but if you’re like me and only need it sometimes it’s perfect. I definitely think that the price is really great for the quality of this item.
