Fine. While rinsing a bit will float up. I have a 3 1/2 gallon tank and it does hold 4 plants down very well.

How many bags for a 5 gallon tank and how deep should it be?

Can I use this sand with my betta fish, and artificial plants

I don't see why not, although it's a good idea to rinse before adding.

Can you clean this with a gravel vacuum?

I think it would just suction it all up. I rinse it out. It’s pretty fine .
