Bought it for someone and the person said the product doesn't look like how it costed. But it wasn't too bad to have to return it. Hopefully it'll last long for the travel.

The media could not be loaded.  It looked great, but fell apart on the first outing. Totally disappointed in the quality. The eyelets fell off.

My husband loved this Ghosthorn fishing pole! It’s very light and convenient on the go. Disassemble into two-three pieces in and out of the case and the line spool with mock bate tools are easy to install too. The only down fall is it doesn’t come with weights and the tip fishing rod hook came off within in the first two times of using it but overall it’s an awesome fishing device.

My husband and I are taking our 11 year old grandson to Barbados in June. I ordered the 8 ft pole for my husband and the 7 ft pole for our grandson to take with us on our trip. I had researched and read many reviews on different telescopic poles and although this one was a little more money than others, I found this one to be the best reviewed regarding quality. My husband thought the quality was excellent especially at this price point and I was happy I spent the little extra bit of money for a good product. The travel case is perfect for bringing on the plane and the rod and reel are well protected. I look forward to updating the review regarding actually fishing with these poles once we return from vacation, but as far as the quality of the product we received, we would recommend.

I was looking for an excellent travel fishing rod and reel combo that I could keep in the car so I can fish anywhere. Received this telescopic fishing rod and it was a nice fishing kit. Upon opening the package, I'm impressed with the quality and ease of assembly. The rod has extended and retracted with no problems and holds up to its intended purpose. The reel is smooth and appears to be very well made. Also is great that it included line, hooks, and lures. It feels like a more expensive product than it is.I recently reeled in an 11 pound walleye on this pole and it handled it with no problems at all. I love it. So easy to take anywhere and fish! If you want a nice lightweight sturdy and attractive travel setup, I highly recommend this one!
