Absolutely love my new haircut!!! Always wanted a few layers and when I’d go to a hairdresser I never liked them. Now, I absolutely love them and still kept the length of my hair. Gives my hair so much body! There’s a YT of the inventor doing a 3 layer cut. I just did the 2 layers (maybe I’ll go back and do 3 layers). This creaclip couldn’t have made it any easier. Yep it’s made of plastic but the quality is very nice! First time use and it took maybe 10 minutes to cut my hair. So convenient too. I’m looking forward to my next cut now. Haha. Definitely worth it!

I bought this hair cutting clip tool to use to cut my granddaughter‘s hair and other members of my family’s hair and it worked really good. It helps you to keep a straight line. I highly recommend this. It takes the guess work out of trying to cut hair straight when children move around a lot. It’s easy to use it’s made of good quality.

My favorite hairstylist who I have been going to for years quit the salon I went to, and I wasn’t able to find out where he went, so I was back to square one. I tend to be very picky about my hairstylists and I have a very hard time finding ones I love. I decided to take matters into my own hands and learn how to cut my own hair. I have crazy long almost to my waist hair that’s layered, and was very skeptical this could turn out well (I actually bought the CreaClip and hair cutting shears about a month ago and then avoided them out of anxiety). However, tonight I watched a bunch of YouTube videos on how to use this, straight-ironed my hair, and then went to give myself my first 3-layer cut. I am obsessed!! I love how my hair turned out, it looks so good!! I did get confused about how to use it and it took me awhile to get the hang of it, and my cutting technique leaves a lot to be desired, but even with all of that it still turned out good. I think I will become more comfortable with how to use this over time. I’m so excited, because I was paying $80+ per haircut and very sparingly getting haircuts because it was so expensive. Now I can do my hair whenever I want 😊. I love it and recommend.

This tool is a nice item to cut hair but it is hard to use as advertised unless u have some one cutting your hair for you. Also I used alone so I turn my head down and cut it backwards and wet the hair and it was easy to use and I was able to cut hair the way I wanted.

EDIT: March 2025: I'm changing to 5 stars because I've gotten more comfortable using this product. It's getting warmer where I live and I had grown out ends that needed trimming, so I was more brave and cut more hair off. I cut subtle layers around my face and trimmed up my curtain bangs. Yes, it's awkward getting your hair in the clip and doing it upside down, but start with small lengths to cut and go from there. This was the best looking cut I've given myself yet, and I'm really glad I have this product. I now have a cute hair cut right above my shoulders and I have nailed trimming my curtain bangs too.Original review: July 2024: After getting traumatized by two different hair stylists giving me horrible, and I mean horrible hair cuts, I was just done trusting people with my hair....I saw this tool and kept my eye on it for a while....then after the second bad hair cut that ended up with my bangs in a complete fiasco, I finally broke down and got this set. I haven't gotten very brave aside from flipping my hair over and doing long layers. I like how well it worked with my hair framing my face. I need to experiment on my bangs a little more and thin them out, so that will be my next to-do. Either way, I think this is worth the set if you can have someone at home to cut it for you, or if not, flip your hair over and do layers. I've only taken 1 inch off the 2 times I've used this so far, so my cut is extremely subtle, which is perfectly fine with me. Better than the 6 inches that one "stylist" hacked off my hair and the 4 inches another "stylist" hacked off when I asked for curtain bangs...Never again!!! So glad I have this set!
