Q: Summer is coming, so i want to know how long will the lunch bag keep my drinks cold?

we adopt 6mm thickness foam inside so it can be well-insulated. So Generally, the drink will be kept cold for 6-10 hours. but it will last longer if you put ice pack inside

Q: Will it hold a 40oz bottle anywhere?

The outside pockets can hold a 32oz Hydroflask snugly. There is a lot of room inside the bag though. If you wanted to put a 40oz bottle inside the bag it would fit with room for other items. I have put a 6 pack of water 4 sandwiches and a bag of 2lb bag of grapes with room for more. The front pocket holds napkins, plastic ware, wipes, and gum with a little room left.
