This will work for the Mossberg 930spx tactical. No instructions, but installed within 5 or 6 minutes. Proper fit. Excellent machining. I'm very pleased with the purchase. 2 day delivery,also.

First off, I just want to say how impressed I was with the tollerances and finishing of this barrel clamp. Excellent manufacturing! The screws go in absolutely perfectly... as tight as possible with no wiggle, but barely enough play so that they screw in easily and don't bind up. But using this barrel clamp caused catastrophic issues with my particular shotgun. This item is marketed as a universal barrel clamp, but it does not work for shotguns with heavy barrels or shotguns with a larger than standard gap between the barrel and magazine tube. I have a Stoeger M3K FS which has a one piece long magazine tube (holds 10 2 3/4" shells). The diameter of the barrel and the diameter of the magazine tube are correct for this Nordic Components BCT-12 barrel clamp. The issue is the spacing between them. After doing some investigating and measuring, the clamp forces the barrel and the magazine tube togehter and torques the magazine tube since it is not as thick as the barrel. Measured at the end of the barrel, there is normally 0.035" of space between the barrel and magazine tube. Once you install the barrel clamp, that is reduced to 0.230" That doesn't seem like much, but it is enough that it causes the follower to bind up in the magazine tube so that there is no tension on the shells in the tube. Apparently the MOA Precision aluminum follower that I'm using is so precise and has such tight tolerances (so that it doesn't wobble and chatter in the tube) that this amount of flex in the tube caused problems. I called Nordic Components directly and they were very nice and helpful. They confirmed the problem and did not have an alternate product that would work. They suggested I purchase the heavy barrel version since the inner diameter of the upper clamp was larger and would not fit tightly around the barrel and hopefully not flex the magazine tube as much. But it would also not hold the barrel correctly either. That is less than ideal and a bit hokey. The other solution they suggested was to use a vise to bend the outter fingers of the clamp so they wouldn't flex the tube. That would be totally unacceptable to me. So I choose to return the barrel clamp and look for a product that is actually made to work for this shotgun (and other shotguns with the same spacing between the barrel and magazine tube). I will update this review if I find a product that works properly for my setup.

They need to fix their item title summary. It states it as NCBCT-12, but it really is the NCBCT-12-MB which does not work on my Remmington 870. You will have to pay for returning it.

The product is a solid piece of equipment. I’m marking the review down because mine was delivered with a screw missing. I’m going to contact Nordic to see if I can get a replacement.
