This book helped shed more light on how conditioned women are in being caretakers, putting ourselves in a box, becoming small to make others comfortable, feeling the fear and letting it stop us. Louise gives us affirmations and the words to empower us in breaking generational curses and things we were taught from the women before us that had good intentions. I will be referring back to this book again and again.

Louise Hay is perfect for every woman and man at every age! This book takes a close look at challenges women face from childhood to senior age. I suggest reading as a book club or with your daughter!

I bought the kindle version because I made a mistake to listen to tiktokers who never once in their life picked up an actual book besides high school textbooks. I can recommend 100 self-help books that are effective, but not this. She just talks about basic information that any kid can pick up on like eat fruits and vegetables, don’t smoke, do affirmations and calm your anxiety down, sleep 8hrs and don’t die.

I'm stuck on reading chapter 3 over and over because it's what I need to do. This book is explaining everything about why I'm stuck. I have too many negative people and circumstances going on around me. I'm expecting once I move forward in the book I can learn how to tune out all the crap and people in my environment to really make my life better! I'm so grateful for this book given to me by my son

I was recommended this book by a friend. It is interesting, it was written in 1994, funny how we don’t feel this empowered in 2022…. I bought it used and it was in great condition only a small blemish on the cover. I won’t be so hesitate on buying a book used next time.

As always a good read from LouiseA little lean on the content this one. But none the less a good read.
