It does come with the batteries
i like the motion on this light , what can i say it does what they said it would ,and the discounted price is good compared to other similar lights ,i did not put it on a pole ,it did include all the nuts and bolts for the pole , it was very easy to install ,its four bolt i only used two for now , I bolted it to the side of the house on the ledge by the roof where their is wood under the metal frame , i also like that it is slightly curved so it spreads the light not only down but also to the left and right ,i am about to order two more after i finish this review , what confused me before i ordered was that the description said no batteries included , the lamp does come with the batteries , they meant the remote batteries was not included , they need to clarify that , it can confuse some people as it had confuse me overall i must say that i am satisfied with my purchase ,i will update if anything changes .

Bang for your buck
I liked the ease of installing. I like the remote control. I ordered the smaller light to get a feel for solar and I got what I paid for. If you want more light you pay more and buy a bigger light. I got the bang for my buck am good with it but will be buying the bigger more powerful for the rest of my property.

Good lighting
I just hung over our new shed for a large amount of Halloween decorations. I'm 65 up on a ladder 🪜 but it was easy and quick. It changed quick and shines bright.

Need Some Work - Great Light... While they Work - Junk after a month or two
UPDATE (AUG 16): Seller is working with me to diagnose issue. Seller is also sending out new lights to replace the failed fixtures. Seller/Manufacturer is standing behind their product, so I am upgrading the rating from one to three stars. Once the new lights are run for a while, I will report back and hopefully bump up thee eating again.UPDATE (AUG 8): I have not taken them down yet from their mounting locations. Was hoping that maybe due to rainy season in FL, they were not getting enough light to function, but we've had several days with plenty of sunshine, but no such luck; couldn't even get them to flicker. They seem to be totally dead. Save your $230 and buy something else. These are absolute junk! Interesting how they make them to last just long enough to get you out of the Amazon return period, and their own product support period. BEWARE, BEWARE, BEWARE!!!!!I bought the two-pack. They came with one broken controller out of the box, but the actual lights seemed to be of decent build quality. I received them in APR 2023 and was able to travel out to my property and install them the second week of JUN 2023. They were easy enough to install. One was problematic from the get go with the motion detection, and was difficult to get to turn on at times even when turning it on manually, and then it totally stopped working a couple weeks after installation. The second worked great until about a week ago, end of JUL 2023, then it completely stopped working. I have not been able to bring either back to life. Rather expensive lights for items that didn't last very long; so they went from impressive to rip off in record time! I would spend the couple hundred bucks elsewhere.

Working great
This works like a good solar outdoor street light except the motion sensor doesn't work all the time but the day stays that all night long at 30% power

it works and probably just as good as more expensive one
so i had a more expensive 600watt variety and it has been working fine but in low light it is just not bright and to run it at full brightness which is pretty good in brightness, the battery just will not last the whole night. so just gotta run it at 30% and it goes to 100% when there is motion. with this in mind i figured i'll just go with a cheaper one or half the wattage and see if there is any difference. honestly the 600watt at 30% brightness is about the same as a 300watt solar light at 30% and at full brightness they both are pretty close.now onto this 300watt azone which i am actually quite surprised with honestly. it is about the same size as the 600watt variety i have but feels lighter. so i have both in a row but about 35 feet apart from each other at 30% brightness and they give enough light to see around but when they both detect motion their lights overlap the other making for a pretty bright area. in hindsight i would have gone with two 300watt variety and get the same results. lucky for me i have it on a pole that is maybe 12feet tall and during the day i have the sun charging it up and during the night i can spin the light in any direction i need to so it is quite convenient to how i want to use it.easy for me to install, do i want it brighter? yes of course. good motion detection. i read comments people complain about having to be close to the solar light to use the remote and honestly i have a guess to why they did this. if someone bought a couple of these they will know the remote is pretty much the same so if some random person had the same light/remote as you and the range on the remote was really wide then all it takes is a mischievous individual to go around and turn peoples lights off. yes i would get this model again.edit: 27 feb 2023. still working and probably the most reliable out of the ones i had. it is basically set it and forget it. never had to mess with it or it glitching out. hopefully i did not jinx it.
