That being said, if you usually don't wear any armor when you ride, this product will certainly be better than just a light shirt or jacket. I'm 5' 11" and weigh 175 lbs. I usually wear a large or size 44, but I ordered an XXL and it fits nice around the chest and along the back. I did have to cinch up the shoulder/sleeve straps as they were way too wide, but once I did it fits well. The body armor looks high tech and breaths very well if you wear it as your external layer, but also goes fairly unobtrusive under a shirt if you'd rather go with that kind of look.
