Body Brush
My husband has been looking for a brush that is wooden. In stores we have only been able to find plastic and the bristles are not the same. He is very pleased with this find.

Great brush for a great price!
I bought this back scrubber FOUR years ago and it is only now showing signs of wear. I expected it to crack and lose bristles within the first year like my Bass one did, but it kept going strong. I use it every day and keep it in the shower. No special treatment. I came back to purchase a new one and found they no longer ship to my “location “… huh?! Thankfully, I found a similar (if not the same) one sold by a different vendor for a dollar more. 😆

C'mon, It Was Less Than $6! I Give It 4-Stars For Value
So you're reading the negative reviews for this brush and thinking "maybe this ain't the one"...I get it, I do the same thing sometimes. Other times I factor in all variables and decide maybe it is not that bad for the money...this brush is one of those items. I have bought at least to bath brush per year for the last 20 years, and this one is no worse than more expensive brushes I have bought. Whether plastic or wood handle, they all get moldy if you don't keep them clean (what do people old dead skin cells will grow...fresh fruit?) and natural bristles eventually rot from the moisture and fall out. I bought one of these brushes in October last year and it needed to be replaced last month...I would have order sooner if I had known it would take 3 weeks to arrive! The first pic above shows the condition after using the brush daily for the past 8 months. My new brush was order on July 24 and arrived today, as shown in the 2nd & 3rd pics...these folks really chose stupid packaging for this product!! The new brush is the same as the old expcept that they have added a sisal twine around the grip...actually, I believe that this will aid in gripping with soapy hands, but also provide another breeding ground for mildew if not cleaned regularly with anti-bacterial soap. I expect that I will again get 6-7 months of service out of this brush...not bad for less than $6 delivered, in my opinion.

Great for scrubbing your back in the shower!
I bought this because I needed a brush for my back while showering, and I needed one with a longer handle than the one I had. I could not find one that I liked locally - most of them use non-natural materials (i.e. plastic) and the brushes are just too soft and rubbery feeling. I took a chance on this brush mainly because of the length of the handle. The fact that the bristles are natural was a bonus. I do agree with a few of the other reviewers here that the bristles are stiff at first but not so stiff as to cause discomfort. I've used mine about 10 times so far and I don't find the bristles to be too stiff, although they do a good job at scrubbing your skin. I did notice however, that the last time I used it the bristles are starting to soften up and as far as that goes, it is now (for my tastes) at the perfect stiffness/softness. I also haven't noticed any loss of bristles as a couple of other reviewers have mentioned. All in all, the best body brush to date in my opinion. I definitely recommend this brush if you're in the market for one.

Disappointing all the way around
I purchased this brush on the strength of the reviews. I have some shoulder issues that limit my range of motion. I should have followed my instinct and bought a brush with a curved handle. With the straight handle, I find myself having to strain to reach all areas of my back. Also, I kept hitting the sides of the shower with the handle and my shower is not particularly small. This brush is pretty stiff which is ok for me but some might find it too scratchy.

Worth it!
June 22 Update: I use this regularly and it hangs in my shower in a dry area. I have had zero problems with mildew build up or bristles falling out. It is also tough enough to help exfoliate but soft enough not to leave scratch marks or pain.-----Original Review-----My previous bath brush (different company) had very rough bristles that would leave scratch marks so I got rid of it. It also had problems growing mildew.Pros+ Short bristles = less flex than longer bristles so a better scrub+ Bristles are soft and don't mess with my skin other than giving a good scrub+ Good price (got this as flash sale)+ Long, sturdy handleCons- Some shedding of bristles when I opened the package. Few more found in shower after first use but haven't noticed anything major. Pretty sure that is normal for something fresh out of the box.Neutral~ Have not owned it long enough to see about mildew or how the handles and bristles hold up over time

Great Brush that feels amazing on my skin / Great Quality,
Six months in and this brush is till working fine. I have not lost any bristles. I was initially concerned that the coating on the wood would not last and would result in the wood rotting and deteriorating. It appears that the coating is gone but the wood still seems to be in good working order. I've also noticed that at the base of the bristles there seems to be mold. This is to be expected because I use the brush daily and turning it on end wouldn't be enough to drain the moisture out. I'm going to test to see if I can kill/clean away the mold by soaking in vinegar and baking soda. The combo works wonders for my drains but I'm not sure how the plastic, wood, and bristles will handle it. It's worth a shot because it isn't healthy to let the mold continue growing. I'll update this with the results.
