Hershey's Special Dark Mildly Sweet Chocolate Candy, is just the right size for a sweet snack.

I bought some snacks to share at the office. The other items (chips, hard candies, beef sticks, Ukrainian candy, almonds) all arrived none the worse for wear. However, this is LA in the middle of a hotter than normal summer, so as I should have anticipated, they arrived in a melted lump. I've had some items like protein bars arrive with cold packs and protective packaging, but this wasn't one of those times/items. I wasn't going to let them get trashed, so I popped them in a freezer and by the next day, they were fine. They tasted as good as normal, just had that melted/deformed look to them. I couldn't care much less how something looks, if it tastes good, so it's no problem for me, but I'm sure many other people would be disappointed. So, don't order this in the summer or if you live in a hot area (Earth?), otherwise, enjoy it. Maybe England or Portland, both of which are supposed to be much cooler.

The package is repacking by the seller and the nutrition hard to read. The candy itself is has a bit of a white edge to the bars but otherwise ok. I will never buy from this seller again.

The product came in an unmarked plain plastic bag, not in a Hersey’s original. The bars were wrapped and looked fine. However, the chocolate was grey and grainy - both signs of storage in wrong temperature. They were edible but a big disappointment. I wouldn’t buy these again.

everything was great with the chocolate, it's the time of year when you order it. In the winter no problem but during the months when it is warmer don't take the chance or just be in for melted chocolate in a wrapper, not fun getting it out once melted.

Not the same dark chocolate as the miniatures

I purchased this in bulk because of the price. I didn't realize that it had probably sat around a while. I've opened 20-25 bars, and they all have that old, grayish color around the perimeter of the bar. I realize that it probably hasn't changed the taste, but wouldn't feel comfortable sharing these bars as anyone else would think I was giving them old chocolate.

It's Hersheys, it's chocolate, it's dark and it's special. What more is there to say?
