Fits spot on. Slides easily. Easy to install. Replacement for my old ones. They lay flat so you don't see them, looking good. Decent value. Good quality for the price.

Perfect thing to hold a door in place when you have a double door situation. It’s been working for a year so far

In terms of functionality it does work but very poorly. For starters, I would have gladly paid a little bit more for a product with some installation templates. That being said I’m more than capable of mortising my door to install it. Next I immediately noticed that the angle at the top was off and the vertical part wasn’t straight - again I can handle this and make it work. Then when I went to screw it in I noticed just how cheaply made this was. The screws are incredibly short with a very shallow thread. The countersunk holes on the main body are too small and the screw head does not sit flush with the body. Same thing goes for the top screw and the two for the plate. I get that this was less than $10 but literally less than a penny’s worth of detail could have gone into making the hole the proper size and putting in longer screws. Once installed, the hook to lock it in place at the extended position doesn’t fully engage unless I give a little tug on the push button in order to get it to click in place. Unfortunately I’m stuck with this piece of junk because any other product would require a different mortise size and shape so hopefully it doesn’t completely fall apart.

Works as designed. Was plug in play from the old one that stopped working. Cosmetically is appealing if updating house hardware. The mechanism is a bit “cheap” feeling when moving up and down. Wish it had a bit more weight to it if that makes sense. I would still order again considering what you get for the price.

This is perfect as long as it's installed correctly. We put french doors in for our walk in closet and this is a good secure catch to replace those call catches the doors came with.
