3M original dual lock adhesive strips, 1/2 inch wide by 1 foot long. The dual lock mates or attach to itself and there is no male/female or hooks/loops, same strip locks to itself. Cut the 1 foot to pair of two and apply to the mating surfaces, and simply push them into each other.

Stays on your windshield even on hot days
We learned the hard way that the adhesives used for ‘normal’ Velcro will not hold up to hot, sunny days.

The Home Depot velcro doesn't work - the glue gives out in the hot sun. Save yourself the aggravation and get this one.
