I bought this as a gift for a coworker, and she absolutely loved it. It was very soft, and well made. I definitely recommend it.Note: I would suggest that anyone ordering this have it packed in an Amazon shipping package if you are having it shipped to your home, because when it arrived it was in clear plastic. There was nothing wrong with the packaging, it was well-made and protected the blanket just fine; the problem is that the bright red of the blanket could be seen and might attract more attention for would-be porch thieves. (Thankfully that did not happen.)
