Happy Mouth HM Pro King D Double Jointed Bit

I swapped from a regular old rubber D to this bit by happenstance. I ordered the regular jointed D but they sent me the one with the roller and I just thought screw it, I’ll see if my horse likes it. Well…she loves it!!! We compete in the 1.0+ jumpers and I have plenty of control with it. My horse is happy, I’m happy, our trainer is happy. Win. Win. Win.

I always go happy mouth to start the young ones.Start them slow and easy and use the right equipment so they don’t feel pain and learn fear.They do end up chewing off the plastic, but by then they’re ready for a standard bit. Worth the investment to have a horse that doesn’t fear the bit.

Nice bit. Have only had a couple weeks, but my super sensitive horse has done well with it and does not chew on it. I think it's priced a bit too high. I decided to try a Happy Mouth Baucher and got it for half the price of this bit.

riding three horses in this bit and they all seem to like it. i bought a couple of them.

Seem like a durable bit. Fits well, our horse seems happy with it size matched up perfectly to what we measured we needed.

This is a great bit for a horse unhappy in metal bits. Our young TB is only comfortable in this bit.

My horse has a sensitive mouth and this bit is the only one that has worked so far. For that reason I would give it 5 stars. It also happens that my horse likes to chomp on the bit, and in less than a month almost chewed the plastic off the wing pieces, I've spent the last 3 months ridding in the Hackamore and looking for other bit options. If your horse likes to chew keep searching because this won't last long in their mouth.

It was exactly what I needed. Being a new rider, I don't want to cause any pain to the horse when I over-use the reins.
