Apex makes the best pill containers. They shut snug but still are easier to open than the EzyDose containers, which are very difficult to open and hurt your fingers trying. The Apex containers have a little "lip" which gives you something to push up, to open. This container, described as extra large measures 6-1/8 inches long. Each compartment is 1-1/8 front to back, and 14/16 across.

Typical size that you see in stores, holds about 10 typical capsules. Not XL

For me these are the perfect size ..I got one from the grocery store a few years back .. ..but they no longer sale them ..found them on Amazon and stocked up ..my husband likes them to .

This is exactly as described. I can organize my vitamins, aspirin, etc for an extended period at one time. I am glad I ordered these. The Amazon description was very clear and accurate. The product was packaged well and arrived in good condition.

I purchased this because I thought it would be "extra large." I know what the extra large size looks like because I tried to get one in the brick-and-mortar drugstore and they were out (but I could see the regular size and the XXL so I knew what XL would be). This was just regular size. When I tried to return it, they wanted me to mail it back (and I'm a Prime member). The shipping wouldn't have covered the refund.

Great for storing my daily "medicine."
