Therapeutic putty
This is a therapeutic putty that was recommended by my physical therapist to treat a bursitis. It’s easy and fun to use and has been beneficial to treat bursitis.

Good therapy putty
Good stuff for hand rehabilitation. Smells like plastic. (I think I read somewhere that it's supposed to smell like lemon?)Does what it's supposed to do.

Don’t play with it over a silicone mat!!
I bought this Theraputty to strengthen the hand muscles of my 5 year old daughter. It has an oily feeling, and it’s harder than expected. However, she had fun with it (and with other different brand putties) and played for more 30 minutes. Even I don’t like the oily feeling, I like that it doesn’t have any smell. Just be cautious and don’t play with it over a silicone mat because it’s going to stick to it immediately. I tried to remove it with my nails and with different objects with no luck. Finally, I tried with alcohol and a paper towels, and I was able to remove it completely. It worked well with the carpet too.

LOVE for my students
I use theraputty to help my students with concentration and they LOVE it. (I work in elementary SPED -all grades.) You don't even need to give them a whole can. To save money, I just give each child a small chunk that they can fiddle with during class, and they keep it in a little baggie when not in use. It doesn't dry out and it is a minimally-distracting fidget that also helps them build finger muscles. Many of my students have thanked me for letting them use this tool and I've seen a huge gain in sustained focus for a few of my students. I just wouldn't use one that is too firm (soft is my go to)You can use it as an aid in reading (making chunks to tap out words with) too!

Leaves a "Greasy" residue
Works well, but leaves a "greasy" residue on your hands.

Works Like It Should
Got for my hand injury therapy. My physical therapy place had this. I got my own to use at home. I use it while watching TV . It seems to be effective. It doesn’t have any nasty odors. It seems to be doing the trick for my use.
