Bringing Joy to a Panda Enthusiast Biker Chick
I just got this today, but I am so overjoyed that I just can't wait to leave a review. First off, I do not have a child... other than my inner one. I bought this for me. I have an older set of Boom Audio speaker on my Softail Heritage Classic, so I have to use a aux cable to use them. I got a new phone... and it didn't have an aux input. I bought several adapters, some didn't work at all. Others didn't work well. I tried going the Blue tooth reciever route, but it didn't go well either. So, I arrived at the conclusion that I needed an MP3 player. I wanted something simple. No curved glass waiting to break in my windshield bag. No touch screen (easier to use buttons with gloves on). SIMPLE. After hours of searching and seeing the same nonsense over and over, I found this adorable panda player. Bonus, it was made for kids. Hopefully that will meant it will hold up going down the road in my windshield bag. I bought a case just to be safe. Anyway, tonight I plugged it in, charged it up and loaded 2.1 GB of music on it. AND I AM IN LOVE! The little speaker is pretty decent. I took it outside with me while I was walking my dog. I didn't have to roam around the house looking for headphones. Just bam, zoom, out the door. of course the sound quality isn't mind blowing. The speaker is itsy bitsy, but it gets loud enough I can put the player in my pocket and still hear it over the crickets and frogs. I am excited to have it with me when I ride out to areas with spots cellphone service. I can still listen to my jams while I go exploring. I plugged this sucker into my bike, and honestly, I was speechless. The music actually played louder hooked up my Panda Player than it did to My Samsug Galaxy Note 9. Mind Blown. Since I have to use an aux cable with the bike, the radio function works too! The screen gets pretty bright, and the brightness is adjustable. The voice recorder works decently, but you can hear button clicking at the beginning and end of the recording. Which makes sense because the buttons are right next to the speaker. To download the music onto the player, it is just a simple drag and drop system. All of my music is in there all willy nilly at the moment. I haven't messed with the playlist option or anything, and I honestly don't plan to. I like shuffle just fine. I haven't tried hooking it up to my Bluetooth headphones yet. They are dead. I did notice that the product information said that it could support 128 GB micro SD card, but the pamphlet said it can only support 60 GBish. But, I seem to recall someone saying in their review that it did support 128 GB. I am a long way from that at the moment, so no biggie either way for me. The user interface is pretty user friendly. It may take a couple of clicks here and there to get accommodated with it, but it is super simple. It did take a smidgen of effort to figure out how to turn shuffle on. BUT, on the plus side I turned the player on and off a few time, clicked the shuffle button multiple times and I never heard the same song twice... expect for the first song on the list while I was getting shuffle reset up. All and all, I am thrilled about this adorable music contraption and I can't wait to take it with my on my motorcycle!

Very cute panda design and fully featured MP3 player!
I've been trying out many different mini MP3 players to gift to my daughter and this one is by far the best in terms of both the design and full feature set! Unboxing it will reveal a very nicely packed MP3 player even with panda-ear cutout paper insert to fit the MP3 player snugly right inside the box. (see pictures) Underneath the panda MP3 player are nice pair of earbuds with extra ear plugs to fit your ears and microUSB charging cable, along with a user manual. Upon powering it on, although it doesn't have touchscreen, 6 buttons in front are very easy to use: Forward/backwards, select/play/pause, back, recorder and menu buttons. On the right side are the volume and power buttons. Menus are very easy to navigate through. In "Music player" menu, the list of MP3 files show up and it's super easy to scroll up & down; playback audio quality through the loud speaker is very clear and loud enough w/o getting clipped even on high notes. Aside from the music/audio playback experience, I really love its unique "extra features": One is the Record feature with a dedicated "audio record" front button - not only can you listen to audio files, you can also record your own voice or music to play it back later! Another is the Pedometer feature - while you carry around this MP3 player, it will track your walks/runs in terms of number of steps taken, so you don't have to carry around your smart phone (or even smart watch) all the time! Charging this MP3 player was also quite quick - it took only 3 hours or so to get mine fully charged back up; and with normal use, the rechargeable battery lasted for more than a day! So, this MP3 player is definitely a keeper and makes a very nice gift for young kids! I highly recommend it! ;)

Great for toddlers, great to minimize screen time
So, it's an mp3 played and has all of the basic functions of one. It has an easy to understand interface and method to start playing music. It remembers the last track you were on and picks up there. You can insert and sd card, it does playlists, nested folders, etc. Standard stuff. What's really nice about this is our toddler figured out how to turn it on and off quickly, as well as how to start and stop the music, themselves. They can listen to stories and music by themselves, and you get to choose what they hear since it's an mp3 player you have to put content on. It's better than an tonie box or whatever because the possibilities are endless, rather than just discs or figures you can stick on a speaker to hear preselected commercial stories. We wanted to get a cassette player because of the freedom of choice but got this. It has a built-in speaker so you can use it like some competing products, but with your own stuff. The best thing is it has a volume limiter. You can set a certain threshold and the volume will not be turned up past it unless you change that setting. This protects young ears from damage since it does, well, come with headphones and some parents will probably give them to their kids. We've dropped it a few times, it still works. It does have an lcd screen, but it goes dark after a while, which is nice, and the music or story continues regardless. If you want to limit your kid's screen time, not buy into commercial stuff like tonie boxes or whatever, and get the freedom back - like you did - to listen to whatever you want, while ensuring volume doesn't get raised too high to protect hearing, get this. You'll supply the content, but it's so much better this way.

Holiday Gift that will make her happy- But then it didn't
Our 4 year old granddaughter love to sing. This personal, panda, mp3 player will be great for her. I spent about an hour loading songs today and it was very easy for this old grandma to figure out. She now has about 20 songs loaded that I know she enjoys and can start listening as soon as she opens up this holiday season. It is now wrapped and ready to gift to her in December. I just downloaded songs on my computer and dragged and dropped them into her RUIZU 64GB MP3 Player. We purchased earphones too, even though this player comes with a pair of earphones. She is too young for the stick in your ear type so I purchased a pair that will fit her little head. I know this will be a favorite holiday gift and get a ton of use. This is a very small mp3 player but the buttons are easy to understand and if old lady like me could figure out how to use it anyone can. There is even a record button so you can record your voice. This is perfect for letting the little one know they are loved. I wish I had a recording of my grandparents voices to listen to. Perfect little device! Update: Okay, great item until I went to add more songs to her device. It no longer allows me to add music. I even had my son, who is the head of IT at his business try to help. He tried for about 45 minutes and said it was the MP3 player, not my MacBook. He said "If you pay for junk you get junk" Bummer. It has only been two months since I purchased and it only has a few songs she wants to listen to at this point.

It survives everything
I absolutely love my panda mp3. I'm an adult and wanted a cute mp3 player, found this little cuties and despite the little annoyances and fight it puts up when you first get it up and going: not wanting to turn on right away, freezing up or what not, once you've got it up and going with music, the panda works wells. It's also a TANK! I have dropped this thing off of everything, stepped on it by accident, lost it to the cats for a few hours, etc. I have a 64Gb SD card in and it plays smoothly. I haven't had a need to put in a bigger card but I'm sure it can handle it. It also has buttons and no touchscreen. Speaker plays pretty loud and it has a ton of play time, I'm plugged in for a good 6 or 7 hours at time while working and it's still ready to go the next day for another good couple hours. One thing I would say not to do is, don't let the battery die. It's a pain to get the panda back to the standard it makes you expect. So... built for kids, also endures clumsy and forgetful adults Would buy again!

Stopped working after a few days. EDIT: buuut, seller replaced so testing the new one
***EDIT: seller contacted me and sent a replacement. In fact, they sent the original style that I had not initially received which shows they care about customer satisfaction. Communication with the seller on getting the issue resolved was quick and consistent. Increasing the rating from one star to three for now just based on the great customer service. If the new player works for an extended period of time, I'll update again. Great interaction with the seller, hoping the products lives up to the standards of their customer service*** Bought this for my 7 year old daughter. I specifically chose this because of the simple design, lack of full screen and games/camera, ect. and the full buttons versus the touch screen that most have. I wanted something simpler and more rugged than the other mp3 players out there. She LOVED it. For the three days it worked. Had decent sound quality for the size, was easy to navigate, she had a blast with it. It completely died after three days and has not uttered a sound or powered on since. Find something else. FYI, this was the second mp3 player I bought from this seller. The first never arrived. In fact, it's still pending and says "It's running late" after two months since purchase date. The seller never bothered to drop it off for shipping, just created a label or whatever so it would show as shipped by Amazon but never took it to the shipper. Didn't cancel the order, didn't update with details, just never shipped and I had to wait the Amazon mandated period of time to request a refund.

Perfect for littles to have music without my phone
My baby falls asleep to music and has taken over my phone. Now that he’s rolling around he tries to get it all the time. I love that this is made more for kids, and has a speaker on the device. Super easy to have with us on the go for nap times. Really easy to setup songs.

Great MP3 Audiobook & Music Player for the Little Ones!
Cute, well thought out features and quality build. Comes with a USBC cable for charging and transferring files. Ear buds are nice, even get different sizes if needed. Menu system is pretty intuitive. My grandkids, preschool 4 year old and first grader will need some help from adults to load music or audiobooks but once it's loaded, they'll be able to use the controls to listen and play their books and songs. Getting books from the library and loading them was a breeze, the kids are going to love the books I loaded! I just transferred the books to the local storage rather than the micro SD card. One less thing for the kids to remember to select when playing their media. Pros; * The soft "ears" and zoo animals on the back. There's also a Panda version for the bigger kids. * Perfect size for small hands, feels very nice in your hand. * USBC rather than micro USB * Bluetooth 5.0 to connect to wireless headphones if you want (or large speaker) * Voice recording is really nice - record messages for the kids to read at school or on the bus! * Variable speed playback for audiobooks (or songs) is wonderful. Increase speed up to 8 steps for those plodding audiobook narrations! * Easy to find power, volume down, up on the right side of the player * One button power off, just push the button, don't have to hold it * The usual back, play/stop and forward buttons * Headphone jack at top * Easy to set an alarm and have it play a book or song when the alarm goes off. Can even set the alarm for every day of the week * Beautiful alarm clock icon flashes when the alarm goes off! * Basic A/C 120 volt charging via the usual USB 5v 1amp output charger. Doesn't come with the player but you probably have many lost chargers buried in your couch anyway * Pedometer, stopwatch, FM radio (if using the earbuds) are nice add-ons * Typical settings options, repeat, shuffle, volume limit and others * Equalizer (preset options like rock, classical, etc. or use "custom" to simply up the bass and/or treble) Cons; * Manual wrong - says only MP3 & WMA files - not true, FLAC files sound wonderful! * Manual wrong - also says up to 64GB micro SD card - 128GB works great. NOTE: Believe the Amazon features and description listed for the player as it's accurate! Questions; * Pedometer weight & height settings are metric and I didn't see any way to change them to imperial. * Looks like it could show a photo as a screensaver but I didn't see any option to add it. * Playlists - can create them by adding songs to a playlist but what can I load playlist files from my computer like m3u files? Great little player for anyone but kids especially! Rivals much more expensive ones too!

Simple to use music player with external speaker
I had a Ruizu mp3 player for many years. I was contacted by Ruizu to provide a review in exchange for a return of purchase of this product; however, I will provide an unbiased review. I have not fully stress tested this mp3 player nor have I tested it from the perspective of a child. I have used most of the functions on this mp3 player to include music, bluetooth, alarm, speaker, sound profiles, fm tuner, and fm record. All functions, with the exception of bluetooth, worked as expected. The player is instantly recognized by Windows 10 as an external drive, in my case, USB external drive E:. I loaded approx 1500 songs which took approx 1 hour using the included cable to connect my Dell's USB 3.0 port to the mp3 player's USB C port. After the load, the player took about 3 minutes to digest the playlist and create an index. Changing the mp3 settings was straightforward and intuitive. I did not have to refer to instructions to make changes to time and date. I have enjoyed the small external speaker. Though the speaker has a tinny sound, it is useful and can comes in handy when listening to music in the shower or in any other situation when a headset can't be used. The FM tuner and Alarm are both nice to have and I expect to use both functions on an ad hoc basis in the future. I've only tested the Bluetooth connection of the mp3 player with my Dell computer but there is an incompability with the 2 bluetooth radios. Its the first time I've encountered an incompatability between my Dell and any bluetooth device. But I do not foresee using the mp3 player's bluetooth connection in the future. I will use the USB cable connection instead. I have not stressed the battery on this mp3 player but based on the battery life of my previous Ruizi player, I expect this mp3 player will last for 20 plus hours when playing through headphones.
