For just under £11 at time of review you get a couple of boxes of these glow sticks with various accessories to create all manner of shapes and objects and get lots for your money.These would be great for gifts for kids who love playing with these and even adults for groovy parties or just having a laugh.The accessories allow you to make a pair of groovy glasses, bracelets and lots of different shapes and objects... My boy created a spinning glowing fan and flower with the various accessories.I like that these are non toxic especially being a kids plaything, but be careful over bending these because they can stain if they leak.... I found this out when 1 started leaking after I'd over bent it lol.... but quickly using a cloth the stain disappeared.Nearly had a glow in the dark sofa lol.You get 100 various coloured glow sticks per box so you get 200 sticks in total.The instructions suggest hitting or breaking the stick then shaking the stick but we found breaking the stick in several places helps to make all of the stick glow brightly and they seem to glow for hours on end.For the price this will provide hours of fun for kids and bring out some creativity as well as being fun for adults as well :-)Great value.

The first thing to say is you get a random number of each colour loose in the boxes. The fewest I got were the ones that look pale orange (but actually glow white), where there were 9, versus 30 odd each of the yellow and pink. There are 8 different colours, but they’re not all easy to tell apart, and you do need to give them a good crack; curling them around a couple of fingers was the best way to get them glowing well, otherwise you get small dead zones that are hard to trigger. I did have a couple start glowing when I tipped the box, though, so some go more readily than others. The connectors are what you’d expect - fairly cheap and cheerful - but they do connect and hold, and a single glow stick will fit a slim adult wrist. In addition to the normal connectors, you also get arms to make a pair of glasses (2 total), and a couple of flower connectors.Are they worth more than £10 (price at time of reviewing)? Yes, as long as you don’t mind not getting an equal number of each colour, or that they’re loose in the box.

The media could not be loaded.  Received a 100 box set (the product page is for a 200 box set) so the box included half the amount of plastic accessories as my photo indicates. I snapped the glow sticks gently - the box indicates you snap once in the middle then shake, but I needed to snap them several times along the length of the sticks with a combo of shaking to get the full length of stick to light. The colours are pretty and the clear liquid one lights up blue. The blue and pink ones were very long lasting, I put them over my bed post around 11pm (they are fairly bright and gently lit the room like a nightlight), and they still had some glow left in them when I woke at 8am.These are great if you want to give house party guests something fun to enjoy that they didn’t expect. I thought I’d need 2 sticks for a bracelet but 2 were too big for this purpose - so given the stick length they would go a long way when your guests create shapes with the included connectors.

I ordered these glow sticks as I'm planning a party later in the year and I thought putting these on the tables would be a fun idea. You get a large quantity, good value for the amount you get, I didn't receive any of the attachment parts to fit them together though. I thought they might be buried in the boxes , they were nowhere to be found. Also , there wasn't such a good variety of colours in the batch I had. I opened both boxes , I had darkpink, orange, green and pink/white . The dark pink and green seemed to be most luminous and did last a long time. Some seemed to work better than others, a few didn't really work at all . I didn't try that many really in conjunction to the hundreds received. On the whole a great idea for party bags or to put out for amusement, reasonable price , it was just a shame that some of the other parts were missing, you can't really do much with them without them.

Up until recently I thought all glowsticks were pretty much the same but after a bad purchase I realised they aren't. These sets are fantastic. They are standard size so will fit any connectors etc you may already have lying around. They also shine really bright and keep glowing for a few days. I was a little worried with them being in a cardboard box that some of the glowsticks may have been snapped already but we are halfway through a box and all of them have worked so far. Great additional items, there are connectors to make bracelets, a ball and glasses as well as a really pretty butterfly which makes a double banded bracelet. Fantastic value for money. Highly recommend.

Glow sticksHow fab are these! They absolutely went down well at the party, the kids couldn't get enough of them!You get 200 glow sticks in each box, along with accessories to make items and lots of double ended caps, to link the glow sticks together. There are a good few colours and they're a good size at roughly 20cm x 0.5cm.The glow sticks work well, you need to snap and bend in a few places to get the whole stick glowing but it's easy enough.I would recommend these. They're slightly more than I thought they would be but they went down so well at the party, that they will definitely be there for the next one too.

These are lovely vibrant colours. The glow stick themselves are a pretty standard affair in terms of dimensions and style but these actually glowed for over 24hrs which is impressive to me. I've included a photo of the brightness after 24hr - they were duller, but definitely still trucking along. The package comes with a full set of clear tube sections that fit snuggly over the sticks to make bracelets from one band, headbands from two bands, or necklaces from three bands. They also include some yellow coloured connectors to make a set of novelty glasses.
