I bought 2x 20 Metre runs of this cable only because I had previously bought & liked this particular maker of CAT cable in the past & was always impressed by the build quality & performance.This particular CAT8 Cable didn't disappoint in anyway shape or form.This stuff is built like a tank in all aspects ! The actual cable is nice & thick while remaining still flexible enough to bend while installing but just be aware that it is Thick & it's not ultra pliable... So if you require something ultra liable then this isn't for you. The plugs on both ends are again built to a very high standard of quality with excellent strain relief in place too. The performance of both 20 Metre runs I used was top notch & didn't drop 1 kb/s of speed compared to a 1Metre CAT8 similar cable that I used for testing purposes. I have no negatives to say at all regards this excellent network cable.If you're like me & you needed a long run of CAT8 cable & demand quality & speed then you can't go wrong with this choice. I fully & highly recommend this companies network cables since I now own a few of their models of cables & this model especially as it'll last you years & years with no worries once installed ;)Do yourself a favour & buy this versus some cheaper stuff that's bound to be junk ;)

The cable is thick and sturdy enough. I tested it on the Xbox one and found the upload speed to be faster than my old cable and with a latency of 20ms. However, when trying to take the cable back out after my tests, I found that it was incredibly difficult to reach the little push button to slide it out. It took me ages to do and I barely managed to keep my Xbox's ethernet port in one piece. Just a word of warning to those buying this for a console. It's not just fiddly, it's ridiculous because of the design.

These Cat8 cables are a nice braided finish in black and silver. They have sturdy looking connectors although the locking tabs don't seem any sturdier than other types.Speeds seem good connected from my 2.5GbE motherboard via a 2.5GbE Switch to my 2.5GbE NAS. It's only a tad slower than writing to an internal drive, and quicker than copying to a USB3 connected driveThey are good value for what they are, but CAT8 cable is still a lot more expensive than Cat5/6. I'm not going to rush to re-cable my whole house, especially as there are so few devices at the moment which support these speeds. But for within my home office they are perfect.

I purchased a 0.5m cable to connect my Draytek Vigor 130 modem to a TP-Link Archer AX11000 and all works fine at Gigabit speed, full duplex. I was previously using a grey Cat6a cable that was kinking due to the angle of the cable.This being a braided cable should prevent that happening.I will be honest, I purchased this cable purely because it is braided, looked nice and I thought hey, I want a Cat8 cable. I have no idea if this cable could support the full 40Gbps that Cat8 is specified for, as I don't have 40Gbps capable equipment to test on and few do at this time.Either way, the cable is braided, looks nice and feels well made, so my needs are satisfied.

A very sturdy cable.. much thicker than my last one. The plugs are robust and fit snuggly into my router and laptop. My WiFi isn't great in my house and working from home a lot on my laptop, I tend to work in my bedroom as it is the quietest place in the house. I do have a WiFi extension upstairs but my laptop still drops off from time to time. My other cable was short so wasn't comfy to use and this one being much longer has made working for so long on my laptop much more comfortable. It looks like to will last a long time.
