Dog very keen on these so I guess they taste good if you are a canine! They do seem to improve the ‘doggy breath’ and hopefully are helping clean the teeth a bit too. Biggest plus for us is that they are grain free so suitable for our gluten free dog. Price is also comparable too with the more regular (gluten full) common brands which makes a nice change as often the speciality products mean a higher price. Very happy with the quality and keeps the dog happy too.

I use forthglade alot for my dog she's on mainly their wet food and I will always rave about them. She has lots of allergies and intolerances but Forthglade never disappoint and the dental sticks are the same. One a day keeps her breath smelling lovely, it doesn't upset her tummy and she loves them. She runs straight in her bed for her night time dental stick.

I purchased these to help clean the teeth of my 16 month old labrador. Forthglade is a good quality brand in fact my dog has Forthglade brand food for her main meals.These dental sticks are the same high quality I would expect from the brand. They're made from natural ingredients, plant based and grain free so great for dogs with allergies such as my own who cannot have wheat or beef.They have a similar ridged shape to other dental sticks which I can only assume must be the ideal shape for removing plaque and tartar. The box doesn't state that the sticks are a particular flavour, but they contain peppermint oil and dried liquorice root and you can definitely smell both of these things when you open then box.Texture wise they're not particularly soft but also not too hard either so you can break them in half easily which is good since dogs up to 15kg are only recommended to have half a stick daily.They are a bit on the expensive side, I could certainly get cheaper dental sticks however I find that a lot of the cheaper ones contain wheat as fillers which my dog can't have so I'm happy to pay a bit more for one with quality ingredients.Then there's the taste test. Unfortunately for us this is where it goes downhill. Initially my dog was interested in this new treat and took it off to her bed. but she left it uneaten, even though she's normally quite greedy. I've offered them to her again a few times but had the same response every time. Eventually I tried putting some squeezy cheese and liver paste in the hole in the middle of the dental stick. It worked, she's eating them (lasted her about a minute) Pretty sure that will undo all the good that the dental stick is doing for her teeth though, but at least they won't get wasted. I've also since discovered that if I break them in half she will eat them without the squeezy cheese. Maybe breaking them releases more of the scent to appeal to her more, not really sure but won't complain.Overall these dental sticks are a good quality product. In the end it's going to come down to the personal taste of your dog as to whether or not they work for you. My dog simply doesn't like them very much and would prefer another brand.

we love forthglade brand for our dog, These chew sticks are one of wanda's favourite treats. We use them as a bedtime treat to settle her down for the night.These treats come in 4 separate packs so they stay fresh and the ingredients are not full of long chemical names or questionable meat derivitaves so I know they are good for her as well as tasty.They are easy to pull apart into thinner long strips if you want to limit the size of a portion. For us Wanda just likes to hold the full stick and knaw on the endThe price is good considering you get 20 large sticks in a box - highly recommended

The dog seemed to like it, but he likes most treats so I’m not sure if that’s an endorsement. I do brush his teeth every other day, so maybe that is why I didn’t really see that they did anything. Regardless I won’t be getting again and will stick with carrots for teeth to compliment the brushing.

My dog loves these, he generally has one in the morning before our walk. Not sure on the effectiveness of teeth cleaning but they do have nice fresh smell to them, slightly herby but not overpowering.They seem to have a nice texture so are chewy rather than crumbly like some chews, dog definitely seems happy with them.This box was great value for money, and they are petty natural with the ingredients, overall, very happy.

I now buy these regularly. After trying lots of other dental sticks these ones are the best. Good value for money as it’s a bulk purchase. My dog thinks it’s a treat so happily has one every day. At a recent vet visit she complemented his teeth so they must be doing something!
