Great Value, Don't Expect Perfection
I was a bit hesitant seeing how cheap this was, but figured I would give it a try.I have digital calipers from a reputable manufacturer, so I figured I would just verify before I actually used it.Message to sellers/manufacturers: PEOPLE LIKE ME WOULD BUY BETTER IF OFFEREDI don't want to pay $100+ for a feeler gauge set, but I'm not looking for the cheapest option either. I would really like to be able to buy a product like this and be able to trust that the claims on their product page would be honest....Too many times have I been BURNED pretty hard on some purchases, but this one seems like it worked out.My table of measurements:Expected Measured Percent Error0.880 0.900 2.27%0.040 0.044 10.00%0.050 0.055 10.00%0.060 0.060 0.00%0.080 0.083 3.75%0.100 0.096 4.00%0.130 0.112 13.85%0.150 0.149 0.67%0.180 0.177 1.67%0.200 0.204 2.00%0.230 0.219 4.78%0.250 0.239 4.40%0.250 0.243 2.80%0.280 0.272 2.86%0.300 0.291 3.00%0.330 0.351 6.36%0.350 0.337 3.71%0.380 0.396 4.21%0.400 0.392 2.00%0.430 0.440 2.33%0.450 0.438 2.67%0.480 0.482 0.42%0.500 0.492 1.60%0.530 0.526 0.75%0.550 0.545 0.91%0.580 0.593 2.24%0.600 0.602 0.33%0.630 0.638 1.27%0.650 0.639 1.69%0.700 0.677 3.29%0.750 0.793 5.73%0.800 0.797 0.38%Multiple measurements were taken for each gauge, not measuring over the edge. Measurements were a reasonable "average" as the gauges aren't perfectly uniform thickness (expected with literally everything, just want to make sure people are aware). The majority of the gauges are just fine, some could definitely be better, but for the price, it's very difficult to complain, only that there isn't a more "premium" option with better tolerances available. There are other reviewers that claimed some of the gauges are way off, which I thought I had experienced as well, however, putting together my table, I noticed I didn't have all 32 gauges recorded. Some of the thinner gauges were just perfectly stuck behind other ones that I easily missed them trying to get measurements of them all (I thought I was being pretty careful too on my initial pass). Just try to make absolutely sure there aren't two of the super thin ones stuck together like I found about 4 pairs of. It's nothing bad about the manufacturer's process, it's just what happens with thin sheets of metal with oil on them.

Very good.
Good product. It's a very simple item, but it does what it's supposed to do. In my case, it didn't come with any greasy residue or anything like that.

Good Value for the Money
Good low-price and reasonable quality feeler gauges. The accuracy is close to what is advertised - a few were a tenthousandth or two more than specified when measured with a Mitutoyo digital micrometer. They are not hardened as I can scratch them with a file BUT they are not advertised as hardened. They do come covered in oil but it also states so in the advertisement - get a rag or shop towel and wipe them off. Not a big deal. The sizes appear to be laser etched and very easy to read except for the smallest sizes where the etching can't go very deep. All the sizes were included with no omissions or duplicates except the .010 size which comes in both brass and steel. This is a feature, not false advertisement as one reviewer put it. The gauges are mounted in a frame and held together with a nut and screw. The nut will easily loosen. Get a nylon lock nut if that is an issue for you. This is a good set for casual use. It is not for the professional mechanic and you shouldn't expect so at this price level.

Helpful for Guitar Setups
Bought these to help me adjust the neck relief on my guitars. The gauges music equipment sites offer are usually 1) more expensive and 2) offer less gauges so this seemed like a good deal.

Very accurate.
I’ve only used them once to calibrate thé valves on my ATV after rebuilding the head. What can I say? I wished I could use them more often. They fulfill their purpose.

Great Gauges!
I received mine with a couple of the gauges slightly out of order (.013 and .014 between .022 and .023, and with the numbering facing backwards) but it was an incredibly simple fix with only a screwdriver or small wrench bit to rearrange it properly. And the tension of the metal protection case can be configured to be looser/tighter. I measured the gauges with an accurate set of calipers and a thickness gauge and all of them were accurate. Each of the gauges came to me covered in a rather sticky/tacky oil that may attracts lint/dust/small shavings. I’d recommend carefully wiping them off and replacing it with a very light coat of something like CLP or a light nano oil, and when using it, wiping the oil off completely with a soft cloth as the oil can mess with your measuring results in some cases, and then reoiling it after. I guess my only real legitimate complaint however is that they are magnetic, but it’s steel, so what can you really do about that…For the price I paid for them however, they’re EASILY worth the purchase. I’d highly recommend it to any machinists or anybody looking to take precision measurements. Easy 5/5 stars!
