Works great for detail since they come to a nice sharp point. Great variety of sizes, love the thickness , takes tons of water. Very little hair loss.

I love these brushes. I use them to paint Asian style watercolor flowers and leaves. They are well made. The variety of sizes give the artist a wide range of effects. I use the largest brush to lay down my wash.

Quite pleased with with the quality of the paint brush hairs - they stay pointy for the intricate type at work requires for uniform elegant Chinoiserie paints. Only issue is a few handles being made with plastic (1 came broken) no time to return as I have an online workshop next 3 days.. well have to use string bonding glue. Manufacture should stuck to wood. Would but again though as these are for practice before buying the really expensive Chinese brushes. Thank you.

A wonderful assortment of brushes. My wife is very artistic and also does calligraphy and I gave them to her as a gift. She was thrilled and uses them constantly in her watercolor work.
