Good item, but it does not come with a washer. I had to get my own washer so the water does not leak

The ZAOJIAO Tube Bulkhead Connector Push Fit Quick Connect for RO Water Reverse Osmosis System are great.

I purchased the bulkhead connectors as part of a project to create a gravity fed automatic top off for my saltwater aquarium. Initially I had an issue with getting the bulk head to seal properly due to the curvature of the 2 gallon bucket that I was using. Ultimately to resolve the lead from the bulkhead I incorporated RTV silicone to both ends of the bulkhead which resulted in a leak free connection.I only needed one but it is nice to have a multi pack for other projects in the future. I would have given 5 stars but I think it would be nice if these mini bulkheads included some kind of rubber washer to create a more fitted seal thereby requiring less use of silicone. Other than they its been about six months and the bulkhead has held up great even when I frequently disconnect the hose to remove the bucket.

The description never mentions this, but the shaft is only threaded about 2/3 of the way. So the fitting can only go through a 3/8" bulkhead and still allow you to compression seal with that nut. Also, no gasket for a tight seal.Looks like it will do the job for someone with a bulkhead/wall thin enough and maybe also has this above any water line. But in my case I was trying to run a filler line into a mixing tank that has 1/2" thick walls. Won't work.See photo. This is as far out as the nut can be and still catch at least a couple threads.

Work well. I went with a 5/8 in hole. 1/2” was too small. The 5/8” slide right in, so if you want something a little snug, you might was to sand down the 1/2” or maybe you have something in between. I have this mounted on the top of a water container, so I can comment to it’s leak protection, but it doesn’t come with a rubber gasket, so you’d definitely need something else if you want to depend on it to not leak.

As the product description sais.... it's for 1/4 inch tubing. - During installation, it is important to cut the end flush,clean and square. if there is _any_ burr, or the tube gets mis-shaped (oval, and not circular), then you can potentially have leakage. Obviously, if you're working with a 6mm tube, which can be mistaken easily, it won't fit!

Very easy to install and perfect for buckets. Good price for the number you get.

Worked as hoped ,no rubber gasket to seal to bucket.

I use these as quick connect/disconnect fittings for hydroponic bins, so I can easily detach them from the air system and move them to another space. They work great, and it's so much easier than pulling all the air stones out and making a big mess.
