DOCKERSMen's Perfect Classic Fit Shorts (Regular and Big & Tall)

I am actually reviewing these for my husband who absolutely LOVES these shorts.Originally we bought them for a relative's wedding and I personally thought he would only wear them again for the next semi-formal occasion. BOY WAS I WRONG (but pleasantly surprised)!They are comfortable, fit well, have extra pockets and are very flattering on him. I am especially impressed that they don't really require any ironing and when I do iron them they stand out even more. Easy to wash, quality holds up well. Very, very happy with this purchase.

These are my favorite pair of shorts. They are comfortable and fit me perfectly. The stretch is also just right. If I have one slight misgiving it is that they are a bit too long. I am 6’2” and 190 lbs, with what has been described by several women as a perfect body. My Levi’s jeans inseam is 34 and my L.L. Bean jeans inseam is 32 to give you some sense of my size. I may be old-school, but I like to show a little more leg than these shorts allow in order to give the ladies a thrill. This particular length is their loss. But that’s a very minor complaint. I also find myself massaging and caressing these shorts more than I had anticipated. That’s how soft they are. Do yourself a favor and buy these. Then you, too, can stand around talking to your friends about nothing of any importance at all, but look good while doing so, just like those guys in those Dockers commercials of the 1990s, the ones that led to an argument between Jerry and his girlfriend on “Seinfeld” (but I digress).Added later: I just ordered a pair of (New) Porcelain Khaki 8” (shorter than these) Dockers. I think that I’ll like the shorter shorts even more than the ones I currently have. I KNOW that the ladies will. I may leave a review of those shorts in the future. Stay tuned.Note: Almost no reviewer here who says that he will return with comments in the future about a product actually does so. “I’ll elaborate on this review when I’ve had more time to sample the product” or some variation of that. And the person is never heard from again.Added even later: The 8” shorts didn’t give me enough freedom of motion while walking, so I bought the same color in the Perfect Classic Fit, and they really ARE perfect (just like they say). I like this color ((New) Porcelain) even more than I did my first pair. Words can not do justice to how good I feel when I’m wearing these. If I could bottle this feeling and sell it, I would be a rich man. Well, richer than I already am.

We all now have phones, and they are getting bigger every year. I have a large phone, and I use wired headphones. I can barely get my phone into the main front pocket(s), and because of this the headphone wire has a strain put on it. I have many pairs of older pants that have pockets that are at least two inches deeper, which is ample room for a big phone, and no strain is put on a headphone wire. If some bean counter is saving a penny or less on the material for pockets hopefully they read this review. These shorts have a "security pocket" located on the right side where my large but not largest phone sticks up an inch or two above the top of the pocket. This does help make the phone accessible, but would make an obvious target for pickpockets....so...."security" seems like the wrong adjective? Don't try to reinvent the wheel. These are gentleman's walking shorts, not cargo shorts. If they had used that material at the bottom of the two front pockets, a phone would fit, and be more secure. Because of this I can barely justify a four star review as pockets are important. Overall, good shorts after a week of ownership. I wanted a pair or shorts that weren't gym shorts, that looked a little nicer so I could wear them out and look nice on hot days and nights. These look good with a clean pair of white tennis shoes and a nice t-shirt. A female friend of mine has complimented me on them a couple of times. They're comfortable too, seem to fit as expected. Well made. Right length: not too long and not too short.Interesting feature: it has a pocket on the right side on the shorts for your cell phone (I assume that's what it's for) or a wallet (if you don't want it in your front pocket). I have slipped my cell phone in that side pocket so it doesn't weigh down the shorts and look weird. I don't have a case on my phone so this works well. Yet, I've noticed a problem.My phone heats up significantly and it feels like there's a burning brick on the side of my leg after a short while. The pocket, I don't think is made for a phone because the phone can't stay cool. A feature I LOVED, I can't really use. So maybe I can use that for something else, if not putting cash in the snug pocket, then maybe a panini maker or a grill so I can make my own sandwiches or burgers on the go.

A fair priced short to wear while playing golf. Live in AZ so I can use them most of the year. I'll buy more come the spring when more shorts are needed.

New I would love them right out of the package!

Went to buy shorts at retail and late in season and frankly most stores are a mess, probably due to lack of employees. Couldn't find what I needed and turned to Amazon.These Docker shorts are great. Fit is very good, run to sizes accurately. These shorts even have an extra pocket to store your mobile phone so you don't sit on it. Great idea. Will order another pair in diffenent color.

Good to play or work outside in them.

These shorts are perfect for my husband, not too short and not too tight. They hit perfectly at knee length and have just the right number of pockets.They are 100% cotton and are very comfortable for summer wear.I expect these to last for years just like his previous pairs.

Arrived late, thanks Canada Post for sending it to Newfoundland instead of southern Ontario. Shorts fit and look great. Thought the smartphone pocket was gimmicky until trying it out and I can use.my pockets for hands and wallets while keeping the phone out of the way and still butt lean on things.Also thanks Amazon for the credit for delayed shipping.

Lo que más me gustó (antes de probármelo) fue el material, la hechura y el diseño en general: la tela se siente muy bien, el tono azul está lindo, se nota bien armado y el diseño del pantalon es un clásico con ciertas características, como la bolsa para monedas.Sin embargo, lo que no me gustó fue que me quedó muy largo, posiblemente sea por mi estatura (pedí talle 36, 175 cm), es decir, me quedó muy por debajo de la rodilla, lo cual fue el motivo por el que lo devolví, no quise meterme en temas de ajustes con un sastre.Si mides más de 1.80 estoy seguro que te quedarán a la perfección.

I’m pretty sure they sent me the wrong size.I normally wear 38 size pants at the waist but i was looking for something very loose to wear this summer so I went four sizes up and got a 42 waist size of these shorts.It doesn’t even go over my butt it’s so tight! I can’t wear them. It has a 42 tag on it.Either this is extremely tight fit, I gained 4 pant sizes in a week, or it’s mid-labelled.Would not recommend.
